Ciraolo, Frances Marie – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Frances Ciraolo in her 88th year, at St. Joseph’s Hospital on January 31, 2015. Survived by husband Nicholas, and children Charles, Edward (Brenda), Linda (Lee), Joseph (Lorna), Philip (Glenna) and Maryann (Charles). Also, survived by 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, Predeceased by her brother Sidney Hayes and his wife Margerie Hayes. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & from 6 until the Service for Frances at 7 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Cremation to follow. Expressions of Sympathy to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 30, 2015 in his 54th year. Loving husband of Pat (Reed). Predeceased by his parents Harry and Margaret. In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.

Passed away peacefully at Wentworth Lodge with family by his side on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 in his 88th year. Loving husband and best friend of Audrey (nee Glass). Cherished father of Louise (Ron) Rodgers of Dundas, Dianna (Terry) Dunnigan of Woodstock, Brian (Eleanor) Thili of Angus, Cheryl of Dundas and predeceased by Michael. Survived by his sisters Josephine (Elliot) Firth-Eagland of Burlington and Mary Louise (John) Ross of Coquitlam,BC. Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Ralph was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. He owned and operated Blue Arrow TV in Dundas for over 35 years and was well known for his friendly manner, honesty and integrity. He was passionate about playing both golf and curling. Ralph was a longstanding member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Dundas Branch). A special thank you to Dr. Scott Nash and the staff of Maple Lane at Wentworth Lodge for their dedicated and compassionate care for the past three years. Friends and family will be received at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas on Friday, January 30th, 2015 from 7:00pm-9:00pm. A graveside service for Ralph will be held on Monday, February 2nd at 10:00 am at Grove Cemetery in Dundas. White, Elizabeth Caroline “Betty – Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, January 22, 2015, in her 98th year. Predeceased by her beloved father and mother, her two brothers Harold and Arthur and her sisters Helen and Edie. Survived by nieces and nephews. Betty was Past President and Honorary Life member of both the Hamilton S.P.C.A and the Hamilton Kennel Club. She received the Queen Elizabeth Golden Jubilee medal for her volunteer work for her beloved animals and the Order of Niagara for her work for Christ Church, Flamborough. Betty was a founding member of the Senior Woodchippers of Dundas and a well-known carver in wood and soapstone. She was blessed with wonderful friends and neighbours. A Funeral for Betty will be held at Christ Church Flamborough, 92 Highway 8, Greensville on Monday morning at 11 o’clock, reception to follow. Interment Woodland Cemetery. As Expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hamilton S.P.C.A. or Christ Church Flamborough, would be sincerely appreciated.

Hoe, Irene Dorothy (nee Wilson) – It is with sadness that the family of Irene Hoe announce her death on January 17, 2015. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Kitty Wilson and her sisters, Kay, Violet and Frances. Left to mourn are her sisters, Audrey Lightfoot and Patricia Taylor and her many nieces and nephew. Irene is retired from McMaster Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A family service will be held at a later date.

Suddenly at the St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday January 12, 2015 in her 92nd year. Cherished wife of Peter for 67 years. She is predeceased by her sister Rosette and will be sadly missed by many cousins in Belgium and her special friend Millie. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday from 9:30 am until the Funeral Service for Jeannine at 10:30 am at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Predeceased by his loving wife Catherine in December, Joe is survived by his cherished daughters Joanne (Joseph) and Susan. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Catherine, Michael, Brad, and Alana and great-grandchildren Aiden, Talan and Faolan as well as step-grandchildren Joey, Robyn (Mike), Saige, Alex, Emily, Anthony, Evan and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Adele, Dolores and Agnes. Loving mother to Robert (Petronella), Barry (Daniela) and Cathy. Loving grandmother of Jesse, Robin, Elizabeth, Christopher, Kira and Andrew and great grandmother to Lucas and Mila. Clare Louise loved her garden, loved to travel, a glass of wine and Matty. On Thursday January 8, 2015 in her 86th year. Heaven has received a new angel as Hazel has joined her beloved husband Don, mother Muriel and father Harry. Loving mother of Bruce (Marg) and Brian (Teri). Cherished sister of Eileen (Don) Burns of Fergus and “Spooner” to brother Don (Beth) Lockhart of Braeside. Predeceased by step-sister Elva (Ken) O’Hare of France. Much loved grandma to Brenda (Adam), Brett, Kenzie (Jamie), Brodie, Brock (Melissa), Jamie Lee (Tommy) and Bryna (Dave). Great-grandma to 7 and counting. Dear friend to Bill & Olive Bleach, Gord & Kay Guthrie and Allan & Irene McMillan. Hazel and Don were long time members of Westside Baptist Church of Hamilton, York Road Baptist of Guelph and Bethel Baptist Church of Fergus. Mom and dad shared many happy times with family and friends at their cottage on Little Hawk Lake in the Algonquin Highlands and she always felt it was her responsibility to make sure she had plenty of fresh muffins, home-made strawberry jam and a pot of fresh coffee to serve the lucky ones that happen to be spending the weekend with them. The family would like to thank the staff at The Meadows LTC in Ancaster for their care and support. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Service for Hazel will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock. Mackenzie, Elizabeth “Liz” (Henrech, Kamphorst, Barker) – Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Thursday, January 1, 2015. She will be deeply missed by her partner Bill Kamphorst. Loving mother of Jennifer Fanjoy (Brian), Nancy Henrech-Bain (Richard) and Scott Henrech. Cherished Grammie to Stephanie, Melissa and Brian Jr. and her 4 legged grandbabies Wiener and Cujo. Predeceased by her parents Gerty and Bill Mackenzie. Will also be missed by her “sister” Sandy Snelling.
