My condolences to you and your family. Robert (Mr.Cutler) taught 2 of my children and profoundly impacted their academic life. His approach to children, each learning in different ways because each is unique in their own way was especially comforting to me as a parent. My children talk of him often, saying that he was the one teacher who made them believe in their ability. My only regret is that he didn’t get to teach my youngest. I will always be grateful to Robert for the positive influence he had in my children’s life. We were blessed to have him be a part of our life. May he rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to you and your family during this incredibly sad time. Mr. Cutler (Rob) is often mentioned in our household, even though he hasn’t been my daughters teacher or baseball coach for a quite a few years. That in itself goes to show the impact he made on my daughter and myself. He was a fantastic teacher and coach and is thought of with admiration and respect by the Marticotte household and he will be missed but never forgotten. Please accept our apology for your loss and know that Rob and your family will be in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers. Be sure to remember the positive, happy times you had with him. We are forever blessed that he was a part of our lives and he will be mentioned as one of things we are thankful for on this Thanksgiving weekend.
Shari, Cassidy, and Eric Marticotte
It was quite the shocker to come across this today, thank you Mr. Cutler for all your help many years ago when I was one of your students. You continuously encouraged your students everyday to thrive to be the best they could be. Your gone, but the impact you made on mine and all your other students lives will live on.
Rest in peace, sir.
Terry, Bev and family – Our family sends our deepest sympathy to all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Our deepest condolences to the family and everyone who knew this wonderful man. He was our baseball coach 6 years ago but we remember him well. May be rest in peace and our prayers be with him.
My deepest condolences to the family. I am sure that I like all of his other students will never forget Mr. Cutler because he truly was an amazing teacher. He was also more than that to us. He was a guide that taught each and every one of us valuable life lessons and helped us discover hidden talents and capabilities that have led us to become the people we are today. He was one of the first teachers I had when I first moved to Canada and was going through a rough adjustment and I will always be thankful to him for putting in the effort to help me out and realize that I can get through and come out of it a better person. I am aware that nothing I or anyone else says can ease the pain you are feeling at this moment, but know that Mr. Cutler will always live through us, his students and he will never be forgotten. We will be keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers and may he rest in peace.
Kim, Emily, Jordan and Family

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Mr. Cutler even though it has been over a decade since I had the privilege of being taught by him. He was a truly incredible and compassionate teacher who without a doubt deeply cared about the success of each and every one of his students. He will certainly be deeply missed by many, I will keep the Cutler family in my thoughts and prayers. May you be comforted by the many lives he has touched.
Dear Terry, Bev, Kim, Emily , Jordan, Ricky and Randy ,
Our sincere condolences on the passing of Rob. By reading the above messages from his former students we can tell he was a great teacher and a highly loved and respected gentleman . Terry and Bev, we tried to phone you earlier today but the number we have is no longer working. Also tried to e-mail and that did not work either. We asked Diane to tell you we e-mailed you. Please know you are all in our prayers.
Love ,
Dennis and Ellen
Jordan, I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Your father was a great man, he was always very nice to me. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. I was quite shocked to hear of it. He was a great teacher and mentor. Though it has been many years since he taught me, about 10 actually, he had such a massive impact on me. He is a name we talk about very often in my household. He pushed me to do better than I thought I was capable of doing. I am just starting out my teaching profession and he was someone I aspire to be like as he always pushed students to do the best they could. He held the bar high and got his students to reach these goals. I wish I could have been at his service. He was a great man.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. I was fortunate enough to have Mr.Cutler as my homeroom teacher at Prince of Wales. His great sense of humor made math class more enjoyable. He cared deeply for all his students and he worked hard to make sure we all succeeded. I’m grateful to have known him. Rest in Peace Mr. Cutler!
My sincere condolences. Terrible at math; I remember having Mr. Cutler as a teacher’s assistant in elementary school when he first began teaching at Sanford Ave., and then I was fortunate to be a student a couple more years down the road at Prince of Wales. So sad to hear about his passing. I remember him both times in math class as an excellent teacher, and won’t forget it. He was a great teacher. I’m so sorry for your loss.
