January 4, 1970 – October 5, 2015
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Jackie. Heaven has become a brighter place because Jackie has been reunited with her loving dad, Winston Rowsell, who predeceased her on January 30, 2010. Left to mourn her passing is her mom – Jane, Stepdad David Humphreys, sister Jo-Anne and brother-in-law Mark Cafazzo, niece Hannah, nephews Jordan, Jaden, Danny, Shiloh and Jesse, and aunts, uncles and cousins in Newfoundland, Ontario, the West Coast and Los Angeles. Jackie was a lover of life. Her family and friends were very important to her. She was a great lover of all creatures of the earth, admired butterflies, birds and squirrels. Her two pugs, Daisymae and Bosco, were dearly loved and pampered. She also loved sports, was looking forward to watching the Blue Jays in the playoffs, and was anxious to return to her special olympic bowling league, swimming and baseball. Jackie will be greatly missed, especially by her mom, and by all who knew her, including her workers and friends at WDDS, Woodstock, Ontario, where she resided. We will never forget that happy smile. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas where the Celebration of Jackie’s Life will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Jackie to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated by the family.
Jane, Joanne and Family,
We love you and you are all in our prayers during these days. The road has been rough for you for many years with
all the sickness and deaths in your family but God has been your source of strength. God’s grace has been sufficient for you and will be in the future. Our family has beautiful memories of Jackie which we will always cherish. “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath you are His everlasting arms.” {The Bible} I know that you will find comfort in knowing we are uplifting you with our prayers. My Sister Jane, Niece JoAnne, and family, Brother-in-Law David,
With much regret I cannot be with you at this time(health reasons) but know that my arms are around you, my every thought and prayer every tear you shed.
Jackie was an Angel on earth and now an Angel in Heaven, she will always live on in our hearts, she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her, her love for life, her beautiful smile and her words of wisdom. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Jackie was so fortunate to have had such wonderful parents who loved her with all their hearts and nothing was to great for them to do for her. She was blessed in so many ways, and loved by us all so dearly.
My heart breaks that she has left us,she will never be forgotten, there are so many memories that we all can cherish.
Jane, JoAnne, try to be strong, she has gone to rest now in sweet peace, just steps ahead., may God comfort you and His Peace be upon you. Love you so much.

I heard Tuesday afternoon about my great friend passing, and to me it was a very big shock. I will remember our first time meeting, in a coffee shop where we ran literally into each other and our classes at WDDS and bowling. In this rough time our hugs and kisses to you.

Jackie was an awesome person who was well loved and will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting her.
It is with great sadness that my good friend Jackie passed away. i will miss the moments we shared at the bowling alley,
and when i would see her out walking her dogs.
I met Jackie 5 years ago through special Olympics. We bowled together. I saw her at the dances. I would see Jackie a lot in the mornings on my way to work with her 2 pugs.
Now she is singing with the angels, spending time with her father. She will be missed.
Jackie’s family,
I feel really bad that Jackie passed away and I would like to send my condolences to her family. I’m sorry I could not come to the visitation or funeral, I would have loved to. Jackie and I bowled together and we are both members of WDDS. I remember when Jackie brought the dogs down the street while I was out for a walk. We stopped and talked for a bit. She was very good at bowling and I will miss her very much!

My heart is broken for all of you. I know how much Jackie meant to you. Jane you are in my heart and thoughts. You and Jackie shared such a wonderful bond between a mother and a daughter. Jackie was full of life and would brighten up any room that she walked into with that big beautiful smile. It was awesome watching her grow into such a strong independent young woman. Rest in Peace Jackie heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Hold her memories close and she will forever live in your hearts. Hugs Kathy
