August 16, 1947-August 21, 2026
Ronn Wilson, age 79, of Dundas, ON, died peacefully on August 21, 2026 at the Juravinski Hospital.
He is survived by his children, twins Candice and Courtnay; beloved grandson Niza; partner Linda Bury, and brother Ross Wilson. He is predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Joyce Wilson.
Dad was a hard worker who liked to keep busy. His career was varied and included bank work, selling tires, and running pet stores. But he really fell into his stride with financial planning, first with Standard Life and then with Wilson Financial Services.
Dad was a man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: a cup of coffee, going for a drive, sipping wine on a patio with loved ones, and when he could no longer golf, selling golf balls for charity at the Chedoke Golf Club. Dad may have been a man of few words, but he chose those words carefully. He was a loving father and grandfather and a loyal friend.
Dad will be missed by so many, including his friends and the many clients he served through Wilson Financial Services. Many of them became like family over the years. He bent over backwards to make sure they were looked after.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Juravinski Hospital. They took very good care of dad and enabled him to die with dignity.
A casual, drop-in celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept 5th, from 2pm-5pm at the Collin’s Brewhouse in Dundas.
In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to the Juravinski Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
What a ride, eh dad? Unbelievable!
I am sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. We attended school together and although we never really kept in touch for many years, upon meeting him on King St in Dundas we always shared a short visit. May he rest peacefully. Condolenses to his family.
