Peacefully at home in Dundas, Ontario, 22nd, August, 2026. Hilda, loving wife of Robert, Beloved mum of Susan and Rob, proud grandmother of Katie, Stephen, Lauren, Makayla, Kennedy, and great grandchildren, Maeve, Rowan, and Fia. A Celebration of her Life will take place at the Turner Family Funeral Home on Saturday August 29th from 3 – 5p.m.
Say not in grief, “She is no more.” But live in thankfulness that she was.
Was more than an honour to have met and known Mrs. Boag. Always welcomed me with kindness into her home and sometimes shook her head knowing Rob and I were going to waste more brain cells playing video games. I always say we don’t lose anyone, as the best of them will always live on with their children and Rob and Susan are perfect examples of people I know who came from great parents. Know she will always shine and watch over you, the grand and great grand kids forever.
Hilda was a wonderful mother-in-law, and I feel very fortunate to have known her. She will be deeply missed, and I’ll always remember her with great fondness.
I’ll always remember Hilda accepting me when Susan and I started dating, even though I didn’t have a job or much money. She fed me when I couldn’t afford to feed myself and always made me feel welcome in her home. She continued to make me feel welcome for more than 45 years.
My thoughts and love are with the family during this difficult time. Rest peacefully, Hilda. ❤️

I was saddened to hear of Auntie Hilda’s passing. I know we haven’t been in each other’s lives for some time, but wanted you to know that we are thinking of you and the family and sending our heartfelt condolences.
