Although she shed her nursing cap many years ago to raise her family Jane’s compassion, patience, and humour was a gift to all who had the honour of her presence. Jane will be reunited with her step-father Clark Gibbons, and brothers Jerry and Greg. Remaining behind to mourn are Jane’s cherished grandchildren; Amanda (Paul) and Kyle Berdan, Britany and Carter, Emily and Becca Carty, and Ryan and Darcy, as well as many loyal friends and family. Thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Palliative Care, also to the clergy and congregation at St. Augustine’s for supporting Tom and Jane’s faith when it was being put to the test. The kindness that Jane bestowed on others was in turn bestowed upon her through the thoughtfulness and support of so many family members, friends and neighbours who made her difficult times more endurable.
