Johnson, Delores “Laurie” (nee Sheldon) – Called home to be with her Lord, peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa Nursing Home in Dundas on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Beloved wife of David Johnson, loved and cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to Leanne and Paul Yates, Rachel and Jeremy, Carlie, Clayton, and Caleb Snoddon, Matthew and Tyler Yates, James Buhlman, Sandra and Colin Regnerus, Jeff and Erica, Kris, Dayva, Drew, and Aaron Regnerus, Phil and Debbie, Vanessa and Bailey Johnson. Visitation to take place on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Service for Laurie will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to World Vision Canada. Thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Villa especially for their loving care of mom.

Packham, Helen Theresa – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday December 8, 2014, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late George (2004) and predeceased by her son Thomas (1977). Sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Beverly King (John), and sadly missed by her grandchildren Christina Evans (Andrew) and Matthew King (Erin) and her 5 great grandchildren Tavish, Finlay, Alaina, Emma and Jackson. Helen was a member of the CWL, and was a retired long time teacher HWCDSB at St. Augustine’s School, Dundas. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Funeral Mass Thursday morning at 11 o’clock at ST. AUGUSTINE’S CHURCH, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas. Interment St .Augustine’s Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2014 in his 57th year. Cherished father of loving sons Kris (Sara) and Tyler (Jessica). Survived by his parents Harold and Margaret of Dundas, brother Art (Teresa) and predeceased by his brother Harold. Also sadly missed by his grandchildren Madison, Macy and Marissa. Peter worked at Stelco for over 30 years. A special thanks to all the staff at Sunrise Lodge for their dedication to Peter as well as the Brain Injury Clinic for all of the support and care they provided. Peter was well liked and known for always smiling. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street Dundas. Cremation to follow and a private family service will take place at a later date. It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Anna Urban, on Wednesday December 3, 2014 in Victoria, BC. Formerly from Hamilton, Ontario, Anna is predeceased by her loving husband, Dr. Janusz Urban. She will be greatly missed by her children George (Jody), Marie and Ola (Bob). Anna was the loved “Babcia” to Stefan, Janusz, Cathryn, Mathew, Marek and Melanie. Our mom will remain in our hearts forever. A funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine’s Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas, Ontario on Tuesday, December 9th at 2:00pm. Zess, Isabel Dean (nee Pike) – Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Villa. Predeceased by her husband Morris (1993). Always loved and remembered by her children Louise and Don Hutchinson, Richard and Susan Zess, Cindy and Michael de Nobriga and Rosemary and Andrew Gringhuis. Predeceased by her son Jack, brother Frederick (Kay), sister Evelyn and great-granddaughter Mikayla. A very special and cherished grandma and great-grandma to all her grandchildren. Isabel was a long time member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday afternoon and evening, November 27th, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas where Isabel’s Service will take place on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. Interment Grove Cemetery. Haygarth, Arthur James “Art” – Passed away peacefully at the Brant Centre, Burlington on Tuesday, November 25th in his 95th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Beatrice of 56 years. Art will be remembered and loved dearly by his daughter Linda (Douglas Goodale) of Sudbury and his son James (Patti) of Burlington. Cherished always by his grandchildren Matthew (Natalie), Ryan (Jenny), A.J. (Crystal), Bryan and Julie and great-grandchildren Zack Haygarth and Owen and Sophie Goodale. Remembered dearly by his brother Jack (Ruth). A special uncle to Cam and Robin. Predeceased by his brother Stewart and sister Eileen. Art was a long time member of the Anglican Church. He served overseas with the R.C.A.S.C. during WWII. He was employed as a Service Correspondant at Slater Steel in Hamilton, retiring in 1980 after 38 years. Special thanks to the compassionate staff at Brant Centre (Spencer Creek) for their dignified care and service, especially Dr. H, Ewa and Rosa. Art will be sadly missed by his special friends Joanne and Lynn. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday afternoon from 2-5 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where Art’s Service will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Grove Cemetery. Died peacefully at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Saturday, November 22, 2014, aged 72 years. Husband of Susan for 48 years. Loving father of Richard and Nicholas (Stacey) and proud grandfather of Elizabeth, Connor and Patrick. Emigrated from the U.K. to Canada. Owned and ran a successful business “Avon Engineering Limited” until his retirement. Active member of Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club and Christ Church Flamborough. Sailing was his passion. Many thanks to all the care givers David had at home and during the 7 months he spent at the hospice (his second home). A Celebration of his Life will be held at CHRIST CHURCH, FLAMBOROUGH, 92 Hwy #8 Dundas, ON on Saturday November 29th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or Christ Church Flamborough would be appreciated.

Grandfather to Ryan and Jacob. Predeceased by his sister June Patzalek. Past Master of Dufferin Lodge Flamborough. Long time member and former treasurer of Christ Church, Flamborough in Greensville. Aylward, Henry Albert – Passed away peacefully in his 94th year at St. Joseph’s Villa. Beloved husband and soul mate of Joyce (nee Easton) for 66 years. Will be sadly missed and forever remembered by loving children, Barbara William (Elko), Gary Aylward (Jill), and Katharine Miya, and grandchildren, Chelsea, Thaddeus and Samantha (predeceased), and Renee William, and great grandchild, Callum. He was a dedicated Canada Post letter carrier for 32 years. But he loved & shared his gift of music throughout his life. During his overseas military service in World War II , he was a gunner in the tank corps, and the solo trumpet player for the “4” Repatriation Band; bringing joy and respite to countless soldiers stationed in Britain. Harry was a member of many area military bands including the Arygle & Sutherland Highlanders, the R.H.L.I Band, The H.M.C.S. Star band, Hindukush Grotto, and Lorne Scots Military Band. He was most proud to be handed the baton to conduct The Hamilton Frontiersman Band for several years. He was a well known area musician playing nightly in the “hot spots” of Hamilton. He was a life member of the Hamilton Musicians Guild. He was also a fifty year member of St. Columba Presbyterian Church, serving as an elder, on the Board of Managers, and in the choir, and most recently a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Dundas. His last few years he sang in the Thursday Afternoon Singers. Special heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa, Willow Grove, and the many dear friends and relatives who supported Harry and Joyce throughout the years. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday afternoon from 1 until the Service for Henry at 2 o’clock at KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 23 Melville Street, Dundas. Cremation to follow. MUCKLE, Dr. Thomas James – January 3, 1931 – November 7, 2014, 83 years of living life to the fullest! In the early morning hours of Friday November 7, 2014 we said farewell to a remarkable man, Thomas James ‘TJ’ Muckle; pathologist, professor, winemaker extraordinaire, self-taught pianist and composer and champion of unconventionality. Many were inspired by his energy, passion, innovation, intellect, and most of all his kindness and keen sense of humour. Predeceased by his parents Aubrey and Patricia and brother Terence. TJ is survived by sister Eileen, daughters Simone (Sandy), Kristina (Vernon) and Fiona (Brad), son Kevin, wife Carry, friend and former wife Hilde (Robert) as well as adored grandchildren Amanda, Savanna, Katherine and Liam who affectionately referred to him as ‘Fuzzy’. Special thanks to his ‘Buddy’ and long-time caregiver, Natalia, as well as friend and caregiver, Veronica. “Life is a celebration. All of it. Even its end.” Friends are invited to an Irish ‘Celebration’ of life on Thursday November 27th, 2014 at Thirty Bench Wine Makers, 4281 Mountainview Rd, Beamsville from 5:30pm to 9pm.
