Passed away peacefully at Wentworth Lodge on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Loving and dedicated husband of Pat for 65 years. Fred will be remembered and loved dearly by his daughter Lisa (David Burton); sons Mark (Sue) and Scott (Christine); 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Peter (Peter); sister-in-law Kay Laurie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents George and Stella and brothers-in-law James and William Reader. Fred was a long time resident of Dundas who was involved in the Police Minor Hockey League, Little League Baseball, Dundas Figure Skating Club, Hydro Bowling League, dundas parades, just to mention a few. He was a member of the RCL, Branch #36 and the Hamilton Air Force Club. He retired from Hydro One in Dundas in 1988. Special thank you to all the staff on Liliac Lane at Wentworth Lodge. At this time, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Fred’s life will be held when all those who knew and cared for him can gather to remember him.
