1949 – 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Anne Leegstra on April 6th, 2024 in her 75th year. She will be dearly missed by her partner, Brian Lacombe, sons, Warren and Jack, and daughters Terra, Krista, Tricia and Samantha. She is predeceased by her mother Marie McHattie and her sister Margaret Bourgeois. Anne will be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren, Jessie, Ashlynne, Victoria, Kelli, Tristan, Brooklyn, Austin and Chloe. Visitation will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Dundas on Tuesday April 16th, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.. Graveside service will take place on Wednesday April 17th, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Grove Cemetery in Dundas. Donations may be made in Anne’s honour to a charity of your choice.
Jessie and I remember many moments where Anne’s caring and kind persona would inquire how we were doing with our health challenges, while she, herself, was facing many of her own. She will indeed be missed when the family gathers. David
