McCarthy, Michael Bryan

Michael passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024.  He was in his 77th year.  Beloved husband of Dale for 34 years, step-father to Ian and Maggie, grandpa to Sarah, Owen and Emma.  Maggie and Sarah were constants in Michael’s life and he cherished that.  Michael was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Georgia McCarthy.  He will be dearly missed by his sister Molly (Bill), brothers Chris (Kathy), and Kevin (Fatima), brothers-in-law Mike Murray (Mary) and Scott, plus all his nieces, nephews and their children.  Michael was a member of IBEW Local 105 and finished his working career with OPG.  Thanks to extended family, friends and acquaintances for being a part of Michael’s journey.  We also want to thank CCAS, Dr. Smosarski, the staff at Amica Stoney Creek and the Bayshore PSW,s for the excellent care provided to Michael.  Cremation has taken place and in keeping with his wishes there will be no service or celebration of life.
