Passed away peacefully at St. Peters Hospital on October 31, 2022 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Larry for over 57 years. Loving mother to Jennifer (Larry – predeceased), Tracy (Dave), Alison (Bill – predeceased), Brad (Tricia). Caring Nana of 9 grandchildren. June was a member and organist at Orkney Church of the Nazarene for many years. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas, on Sunday, November 6th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. and again on Monday, November 7th at 10a.m. until the Service at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Donations can be made, in memory, to the Alzheimer Society or St. Peter’s Hospital.

Heaven has gained a radiant Angel and the Hildreth choir is now complete and all together again to sing and watch over their beloved family and friends. My deepest condolences to the Hood/Hildreth families for their great loss. June will live on in all the wonderful memories she created with all of us and in our hearts she touched. To all the family, Iām so sorry for your lossā¦ it was always a fun time with June, and an encouraging word always spoken, a very special girl, that you got to call, wife and mother, your blessings, are many.
My most sincere condolences to the Hood family at this time of loss and sadness. I remember June with fondness. She was a lovely and kind person who always had time for conversation and a helping hand. Such a loving person will be sorely missed.
My heart goes out to June’s whole family during this time of loss. June was always a dear, welcoming person and loved her from all my years at Orkney Nazarine. So glad she was part of my wedding as she and Marilyn provided our music. We had so many laughs planning the musical selections together. Forever she will be missed. Rejoicing in her home coming.
