It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our devoted and caring mom and nana at Alexander Place LTC, Waterdown in her 85th year. She is reunited with the love of her life Orval “Scrub” with whom she was married for 58 wonderful years, her precious son Craig and parents Bert and Winnie Hannah.
Loving mom of Sandy (Mike) Slack and Gregg (Joanne) Fleet. Cherished nana of Kyleigh (Zachary), Tyce (Alisha), Sydney and Hailey. Dear sister of †Robert Hannah and †Lois (Alan) Harper. Sister-in-law to †Blake & †Laura Fleet, †Blanche & †Bruce Robinson, †Ralph & Jean Fleet, †Howard & Jennie Fleet, Phyllis & †Pete Carey, Lorne & Wanda Fleet, Ivan & Kathy (†Olive) Fleet, Marion & John Brokloff, Marg & † Murdoch MacAskill. Aunt Dot will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you to Alexander Place, Home Area 1 and Alisha’s Homecare for the thoughtful care they provided.
Family and friends will be received at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St., on Friday, November 4th, 2022 at 1 p.m. for visitation followed by funeral at 2 p.m. Internment at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

I’m so sorry to hear of Aunt Dottie’s passing, our condolences to you Sandy and Gregg and all the members of your families. I have great childhood memories of visits with you guys! Your mom was always so warm and inviting, caring and generous, wonderful traits she has passed down the line. I will not be able to attend the services but please know my thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Dot’s passing.
