Roussel, Joan – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late John William Roussel, and loving mother to Bill of Alberta, and the late Bobby. Joan will be missed by her grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, especially Bryan White and Pat Risk, and her great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Thomas (Mary) McGrath, Samuel (Lillian) McGrath, Marion (Doug) Thompson, Helen (Harold) Ramey and Doris (Marvin) White. Born in Dundas, Joan worked at the Dundas Dairy Bar, before moving to Hagersville where she worked for Hewitt’s Dairy Bar for 30 years. Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 1 until the Service for Joan at 2 o’clock at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Interment at White Chapel Cemetery followed by a reception at the Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy to St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Spent many wonderful years working with Joan. She was a customer favourite at the dairy bar.
A most gracious lady who always had a smile on her face through all that life threw at her.

you could always count on Joan to befriend the customers . When she retired a group of her customers had a farewell party for her Rest in peace, Joan.
Joan was the kindest lady in the world. I was so very sad to learn of her passing.
