Passed away on Monday September 16, 2019 at Juravinski Hospital in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harold (2009). Loving mother to Donald and Judy (Rob). Caring grandmother to Emily, Angela (Ben), Tommy (Stephanie) and great-grandmother to Mycah. Edna was a long-time member of the Legion, where she played darts and pool. She and Harold shared a passion for golfing. Edna also bowled at the University Lanes in Dundas for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held at the R.C.L Br#36, 280 King St. W., Dundas on October 6, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Really sad to hear of Edna’s passing. I enjoyed playing with Edna on the Double Ones dart team and against her when on a opposing team. She was always so welcoming and such a friendly person.
Our deepest condolences to Edna’s family during this sad time.
Steve Jewell & Janet Newell.
Sorry to hear the news of Edna’s passing. Edna and Harold were charter members of my Dad’s golf course back in 1983. They were always involved at Pineland Greens helping with tournaments. Edna was the last living Charter member of the golf club. Many fond memories of them both. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend The Celebration of Life but our thoughts will be with the family that day.
So sad to hear of Edna’s passing. She was one of the most loving and caring people we have ever met. She will be greatly missed and forever a fond memory
To Donald and Judy. I came across this obituary a day or so ago. I have often thought of your Mom and Dad over the years but lost touch with them. I see from the obituary that your Dad passed in 2009. I remember both of them fondly as we spent many Christmas dinners at your house or ours. Then I babysat you both for a number of years too. Sending a belated hug to you both. With Love, Heather
