May 22, 1956 – June 27, 2019
Lapierre, William Donald – Suddenly on Thursday, June 27, 2019, Bill passed away. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Theresa. He was a loving father to Kim (Ron) and loving grandfather to Matthew and Jace. Predeceased by parents Marjorie and Roger. Sadly missed by his brother Rick (Betty) and sister Denise (Dan). Loving brother-in-law to the Corsini Family. Bill will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, his great nieces and nephews, and his great friends at Pine Valley Park. Bill worked at Consumer Glass in Hamilton. Cremation has taken place, and a Private Family Celebration of Life has been held. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
My sincere condolences on Bill’s passing. His talented assistance to the operation of the Batch and Furnace department at the glass works certainly made my life easier. The respect he garnered from his peers facilitated getting work done. I am aware he soldiered in Bramalea after the plant closed while I left the company. I regret not maintaining contact over the years. It seems we are losing the best all too soon. I considered him a friend and will remember our time in Hamilton. Wayne
Sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to Theresa and family. I always considered Bill one of the “good guys” who I worked with at Consumers Glass. He taught me and was very helpful in my learning the furnace operator job while at the glass factory. The “good old days” seems like a long time ago now.
Billy, we will certainly miss your laughter and camaraderie around the fire. You strumming and singing All I have to do is dream on the guitar. Cooler full of ice, Blue light, and your glass. You’ll be sorrowfully missed!
T-bird, Kim and family, keep the memories of Billy alive and let them bring you comfort in the days ahead.
