Passed away peacefully at Wentworth Lodge on June 11, 2018 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Ernest Tester (2003). Loving mother to Frank James, the late Margaret Jeanne (Gordon), Elizabeth Ruth, Robert Ernest Bruce (Deb). Caring grandmother to Nina (Rino), Laura (Josh), Jonathan (Jenny), Jess (Dan), Reuben (Sylvia), Isaac, Dan and great-grandmother to Sarah, Michael, and Isabella. Jeanne was an active member of the Dundas Community for over 70 years. The family would like to thank the staff at Wentworth Lodge for their excellent care of Jeanne. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Dundas, on Wednesday June 13, 2018 from 6 – 8p.m. A funeral service will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, 23 Melville St., Dundas, on Thursday June 14, at 11:00a.m. Interment to follow at Grove Cemetery.

We are so sorry to learn of the passing of Nina’s dear grandmother. Please take comfort in knowing that after having lived a long life on earth, she is now basking in the eternal light, beauty and peace of Heaven and is with the almighty Father. May God bless you all and comfort you now and always.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Tester as she was a very remarkable lady. She was a classroom helper for me when I first started my teaching career at Dundana Elementary School. I was so fortunate to have such an excellent classroom volunteer as she was so great with the students and such a help to myself. We always looked forward to having her arrive!
