Nicholson, Murray Bernard – At St. Joseph’s Hospital on Thursday, November 16, 2017, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (2014), and loving father of David (Debi), Murray, Bob (Alison) and Dale (Mark). Proud grandfather of Jeff (Cory), Aaron (Jess), Lee, Troy, Clayton and Devon and great grandfather of Jeremy and Jordon. Murray was the proud founder of Haircrafters, Great Expectations and Edie Adams Cut & Curl in Hamilton since 1970. A pioneer of “no appointment” family hair salons. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received by the family on Monday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Funeral Mass Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at ST. AUGUSTINE’S CHURCH, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas. Interment St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Our Uncle Murray is the last sibling of my mother’s family to pass away and will be greatly missed.
Thoughts and prayers to the Nicholson clan on the loss of Uncle Murray.He was the last surviving member of the Logan Twsp Walter and Agnes Nicholson family.He carried almost a century of memories and will be truly missed.
Uncle Murray will be truly missed. He leaves an incredible legacy with a wonderful family who have so many memories to cherish.
Ahh the last of the best brothers and sisters that anyone would want to be part of. Lots of memories and traditions to uphold.

All of my growing up, I admired and respected Uncle Murray and he was my confirmation sponsor.Later, both Susan and I enjoyed our visits with him and Aunt Dorothy, both in Maple Ridge and Dundas. We have so many memories of Uncle Murray and your family. He has left us all with an example of a life well lived in both family and business.

I used to sit in front of Murray& Dorothy at St .Augutines Sunday Mass.
He was always so cheerful and full of humour, I enjoyed many conversations with him at the church.
