Rest in peace, Sandi. It was a pleasure to know you.
Words cannot express the emotions of the heart. Sandi touched the lives and hearts of so many people, young and old alike, and her presence will be sorely missed. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to Russ and extended family.
Thank you for helping me get started painting. I will always remember you as I pursue my love of painting. You inspired us all.
Sandy was always willing to share her talent and to encourage us all. She will be missed. Go with God’s love, Sandy.
Sandi was so kind. As well as HADA and others, she also supported Harbourside in it’s early days.
I will always remember and cherish her and Russ’s thoughtfulness when they came to visit me at a very stressful, lonely extended months in the hospital in 2008.
Sandi – you are remembered and I am so grateful to have known you.
Peace. Sending sympathies to family.
Our sincere condolences to Russ. I taught with Sandi at Danforth Gardens school. We had great parties at her place after we wrapped up each years operetta. Not only did we teach together but also lived close so we shared many rides to and from work. Sandi’s musical ability was legendary. We reconnected just a short time ago but picked up where we had left off many years ago. She will be missed.
So sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing. I know my parents had many wonderful times with Sandy and Russ. Our thoughts are with you at this time.
I have known Sandi for many years, she was a good friend, a wonderful teacher, a free spirit and she made painting so much fun. We will all miss her cheerful ways, her artistic abilities and her kind heart.
My deepest sympathies to Russ and to Sandi’s extended family.
Sandi was so generous with her talents, both musical and artistic, and encouraged each of us to pursue what spoke to our hearts. When I look at the sunset I will wonder what new colours you are seeing from your side now – a whole new palette. I will miss you my friend. I am not able to attend the funeral tomorrow but my thoughts are with Russ and your many friends at this time. God bless.
I’m so sorry to hear of Sandi’s passing. Sandi & I not only taught together but became very close friends. Sandi was so full of life I’ll miss her.
Joy and I have just heard of the passing of Sandi and are so sorry we did not know last week.
Sandi was a wonderful teacher of art, and all the skills I now have are a direct result of Sandi’s teaching.
We had many fun hours at St. Pauls’. Thank you Sandi.
Our sincere sympathy to Russ. we will miss the Tim Horton supper times next fall
Our deepest condolences to Russ and his family. Sandi was a wonderful lady with a true passion for the arts and for people. My wife and I have the fondest memories of you both from the many gigs that I had done with Russ and of course, Sandi at each one offering her support. You will be in our prayers.
