I will always remember Russ as a kind, friendly, positive man –chatting in the lobby or at lawn bowling .
Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss.
Rusty. Although I didn’t know your father, I know what you are going through. May the Good Lord keep you in his thoughts as he accepts your father into his arms.
God Speed to you and yours.
Hi Eileen, and the whole Ruggles family.
We are so sorry to hear about Russ’ passing. The obituary in the Spectator was very nice. We heard from Dan Pare via his mom.
We hope that Russ didn’t suffer and that his passing was peaceful.
There are not enough words to describe the warm and loving feelings I have when I reminisce about my youth on DeQuincy and the way you all welcomed me into your home and family.
Our thoughts are with you and your family today, and we send all our love and best to everyone and wish all good health and good fortune in the future.

Hi Eileen I am so sorry to hear about Russ. What wonderful times we all used to have. Russ, Bernie and Curly will be having a great reunion right now. Lots of love. Margy
Eileen and Rusty and all,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We remember Russ as a soft-spoken and humble kind of guy who always talked with us, gave us advice and shared his wisdom in a non-threatening way. He was always smiling and encouraging lawn bowlers, especially us newbies. All our kids remember Russ with fondness, too.
God bless,
Steve, Barb and the gang (Sean, Katie, MarySue, Jake, Paul and Christine)
We have such fond memories of the Ruggles family growing up. Russell and Eileen and John and Vera became lifelong best friends. Trips, adventures, watching the families grow, retirement, lawn bowling and lives well lived together. We are so sure that Russel and Johnny are now together again laughing and celebrating together as fittingly , ‘eternal friends. Much love, Vera Walker and family
