February 16th, 1928 – February 20th, 2016
It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Bertram Amann with his family by his side. Born in Vorarlberg Austria, Bert was the oldest of six siblings. He came to Canada for an “adventure” in 1950 meeting the love of his life Rosemarie and settling here. Married for 62 years, Bertram and Rosemarie started Amann Appliance Service in 1970. Bertram continued to visit the “shop” almost daily until weeks before his passing. He was the proud father to Christine (Harold), Bert, Ray (Bonny) & Angela; Opa to Jeff (Nicole), Richard (Lisa), Nicole (Glenn), Julia, Matt, Derek & Justin and Great Opa to Madeleine, Logan, Gavin, Keira, Mikayla, Killian & Elise. We are thankful for his lessons in will power. We will cherish his wisdom and all of our wonderful memories together. A special thank you to Dr. Davis, Dr. Gottschalk, Dr. Schulman and Dr. Black as well as all of the support staff he encountered along the way. His family and friends will hold a private celebration of Bertram’s life in the spring. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Angie,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. God Bless.

“those who have passed away, never die, until we whom they loved, forget them”
These words from an old adage always on my mind re family and friends who have passed away.
Perhaps these words will be helpful to you.

Sad to hear of Mr Amann’s passing. Fond memories of Bert’s very patient parents with a basement full of teenagers. Thinking of you all,

Daniela
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Bert offered us tremendous support
and advice without hesitation over the years. He… for such a long time was a force in the appliance service industry.

langen Leidens ins Erdreich deiner Familie gesenkt lieber Bertram.
Dear Family Amann,
Rosemarie, Christine, Bert, Raymond and all other family members,- we are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Just last year we were over to visit…fond childhood memories of dear Bertram. You Rosemarie telling me, that you would have adopted me in 1987! Such a sweet family! Our thoughts and prayers are always with you.
Much Love
Pierre & Karin
