February 11, 1932 – January 12, 2015
Nesbitt, Clare Louise (nee Grightmire) – Peacefully at home after a brief illness on Monday, January 12, 2015, in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert “Nezzie” in 2009. Loving mother to Robert (Petronella), Barry (Daniela) and Cathy. Loving grandmother of Jesse, Robin, Elizabeth, Christopher, Kira and Andrew and great grandmother to Lucas and Mila. Clare Louise loved her garden, loved to travel, a glass of wine and Matty. Friends will be received by the family on Friday afternoon and evening from 3-5 & 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street Dundas. Funeral Mass Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. at ST. JOSEPH’S VILLA CHAPEL, 56 Governor’s Road, Dundas. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Special thanks to Sara and Linda for their support and care of Clare Louise.

Sorry to read of the death of Clare. We are in Florida and will not be able to Attend.
We will always remember Clare. She introduced us to each other and we are still together 63 years later.

We first met Clare and Bob when we moved to Woodwad Ave. 28 years ago. It was easy to become their friends. We have missed Bob for the passed five years and will miss our dear Clare Louise. Condolences to Cathy, Robert and Barry.

I am sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I will always remember your mom’s warmth, welcoming nature and her pancake breakfasts after countless sleepovers. My thoughts are with you and your family.
I am so sorry to hear of Claire’s passing. We had some great times in the summer at the apple farm and Claire always brought the best of her baking [coconut tarts] and made sure everyone had sampled them. She did like baking. She will be missed there.
