I am deeply indebted to The Picone Family since I had the great privelege of working with them at the grocery store in Dundas. I learned so much from this gracious family. I am saddened to hear of the passing of those I worked with during my youth. Although I moved away from Dundas, I was always warmly welcomed ‘home’ by John and Alma, Elsie and Joe and their families. My thoughts and prayers are with John and family.
We were deeply saddened to hear of Mrs. Picone’s passing. It seems just yesterday that I was working at the store in Westdale in my first job which lasted more than ten years. And I had the best to learn from in both Mr. And Mrs. Picone: the importance of a strong work ethic, compassion, generosity and a commitment to excellence. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Picone, Greg, Gail, John and their families during this difficult time. I have thought of you all often. I wish we lived a little closer to express our condolences in person.
Affectionately, Craig, Marnie and family
