Lewis, Kenneth David Peter
January 2, 1938 – June 6, 2020 in his 83rd year. It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his children Kim (Mike), Shawn (Barb) and Robyn (Oliver) and his grandchildren Dustin, Austin, Jessie, Oliver, Ashley, Arden, Emerald and Felicia as well as his great grandson Weston. Dad was predeceased by the love of his life and constant companion, Marlene (Koo Koo) in 2016. He missed her deeply and their many countryside drives with the Christmas music blaring in the truck in the middle of July. He cherished our yearly family vacations to his brother Chub’s camp in Shining Tree on Deschenes Lake. There were many nights sitting by the campfire listening to old family stories and the strumming of a guitar that we wished would never end. We will retell these stories for generations to come. Dad’s wishes were to have his ashes spread over his beloved moose camp on Deschenes Lake where he also went moose hunting every fall for many, many years. We will be honoured to fulfill that wish. Dad was an avid hunter and trap and skeet shooter. He was a member of the Hamilton Angling and Hunting Association (HAHA) for over 50 years and sat on the executive for many years. He took great pride when all of his children and grandchildren learned to shoot and hunt alongside him. Dad was the most amazing patient teacher. He taught us everything from math, computer programming and fixing anything with a motor to changing a tire and the oil. Most of all, he taught us to be big, strong, kind, humble and to always stand up for what is right. Dad was the youngest of 11 children, all of whom have predeceased him. They are all together once again. So papa, grab your beautiful Koo Koo and join the rest of your family and have the greatest hoedown heaven has ever seen! You were the greatest man on earth and your departure has left a massive hole in our hearts and in our lives. Loving and missing you forever. Stay big and strong xoxo. Kearon, Clive – Born in Dublin, Ireland on May 2, 1957, died at his home, surrounded by his family, in Dundas, Ontario on June 3, 2020.
Smith, Lyle – Peacefully at Cama Woodlands LTC on Sunday, May 31, 2020, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (2012). Loving father of Wendy Crechiola (Mike), Julie Simpson (Dwayne) and Valerie Boom (Warren). Sadly missed by his grandchildren; Erin, Ryan, Adam, Tyler and Carli, his 5 great grandchildren; Austin, Taylor, Olivia, Sophia and Maverick, and by his sister Meryl Hamilton and predeceased by his brother Orvil. He will also be sadly missed by his extended family. Lyle was a member of the Lynden Masonic Lodge #505, and was a non-member volunteer with the Rockton Lions Club. Due to the pandemic, a private family Service and burial was held at Mt. Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to 
CALE, CAROLYN V. (nee CHISLETT) – It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carolyn V. Cale, 83, on May 31st at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife to Warren (predeceased) for almost 36 years and will be greatly missed by her beloved children: son Bruce, daughter Lynda and son-in-law Hal. Her grandchildren Morgan, Jordan, Dylan and Sienna will forever have fond memories of their Nana and her adoring, supportive and nurturing personality. Sister Myrna (predeceased) and Sister-in-law Carolyn B. (predeceased) always had a special place in her heart as do their children, Karen, Jo-Anne, Jennifer and Brian. Following graduation at McGill and their wedding, Montreal native Carolyn made her way with Warren to Kingston, Sarnia and Stoney Creek before settling in the Town of Dundas in 1966. Years later she became the Welcome Wagon Hostess for Dundas, proudly welcoming newcomers to the area for 38 years before retiring at the age of 81. For the last 2 years, Carolyn was enjoying the lifestyle, amenities, the staff and making new friends while residing at Amica Dundas. At this time, we would like to thank and share our appreciation to all the compassionate medical staff at St. Joseph Hospital for making her last few days comfortable. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Paul Aloysius Gillespie on May 17, 2020 in St. Catharine’s, Ontario at the age of 72. Predeceased by his wife, the love of his life, Ruth Anne Gillespie in 2017. Remembered and missed dearly by his daughter Michelle, son Justin, daughter in law Nora, granddaughter Holly, his brothers David, Ciaran (predeceased – 2018), Ken, and Ian; only sister, Aileen; cousins, nieces, nephews and his many other friends and family. Paul tackled every moment in life with passion, generosity and ambition. He was a day dreamer and innovator who always impressed and made friends easily. His strength and determination for life makes it difficult to believe we have to say goodbye. A small, private funeral and burial will take place on Monday, May 25, starting at 1:30p.m., which will be livestreamed for the many loved ones we know would have liked to have joined us. Invitations to the streaming will be sent through e-mail. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, flowers can be sent directly to the funeral home to be enjoyed during the funeral service or a donation in lieu of flowers can be made in Paul’s name to the 
It is with great sadness, Maret Sirotkin passed away on May 16, 2020 in her 89th year after a lengthy illness. She leaves behind a son and a daughter, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her wit and stubborness as well as her generosity will be certainly missed! The family greatly appreciated the staff at Dundas Retirement Place as well as all of the loving PSWs that helped her daily! As per our mother’s request, there will be only a private family service.

Pfeffer, Donald – passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, May 1st, 2020, at the age of 80. He was a good son, brother, husband, son-in-law, father, and grandfather. He will forever be loved and remembered by: his wife Kate; three sons Steven (Azumi), Edward (Marnie), David (Rebecca), and one step-son, Mike (Tina); Don will also be fondly remembered by his eight grandchildren, as well as his sister Jean, two brothers Wayne (Jenny), and Jerry. He spent his lifetime as an educator. He loved nature and supported conservations. He enjoyed getting to know people and all things cultural. A private family service has taken place. His church family will celebrate his life at a later date.
