te Grotenhuis, Rita (nee Jansen) – Passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour, on August 2, 2015, at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Hans te Grotenhuis for 46 wonderful years. Dearly loved by her children Marcel (Norah) te Grotenhuis, Ken (Anne) te Grotenhuis. Loving Oma of Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Ethan, and Moriah. Rita will also be missed by her brother Dick (Jenny) Jansen, her nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by her brother Gerard (Celle) Jansen. Together, we mourn, with thanksgiving, for her love of family, her strong faith, and character. She touched many lives and will be missed deeply. The family wishes to thank the Nephrology team at St. Joseph’s hospital in Hamilton, and a special thanks to Pastor Rita. Visitation will be held at ANCASTER CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 70 Garner Road West, Ancaster on Wednesday, August 5 from 6-9 p.m. Service of Thanksgiving will take place at ANCASTER CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6. Private interment beforehand. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada are appreciated.

SACCOMANO, William (Guglielmo) – After a short illness it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William on Friday July 31st, 2015 in his 85th year. He will be deeply missed by his wife Shirley (nee Patton), sister Aida Saccomano, sons Jim (Sue), Rick (Rose), Mike (Angela), daughters Carmen (John), Cathy (Roy), eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by grandsons J.W. McCurlie and Ryan William Saccomano, parents Longino and Ester Saccomano. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Special thanks to the staff at Juravinski’s I.C.U. and C.I.C.U.

Pegg, M. Jean (Norsworthy) – Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday morning, July 25th in her 96th year. Mom is predeceased by her husband Rusty in 1996, and nine brothers and sisters. She will be sadly and greatly missed by son Clarke (Sue), daughters Lana Costigan (Jack); Lee Marcucci (John) and granddaughters Shawna, Michelle and Danielle. A special thank you is extended to the staff on 6 West at the Hamilton General Hospital for their care and compassion with Mom over the last several weeks. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at 10:00am on Thursday, July 30th with a service to follow at 11:00am at JERSEYVILLE UNITED CHURCH, 16 Field Road, Jerseyville. A private family Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or SPCA would be appreciated by the family.

Sadly we announce the passing of a beloved husband, loving father and very proud Grandpa. Husband and best friend for 42 years of Annette (O’Donnell). Loving father of Andrea Thibault (Christian) and Sean (Monique Gilby). Adoring and devoted Grandpa of Henry, Hannah and Duke. Brian is survived by his mother, Amelia Sabourin. Predeceased by his father, Hubert. Cherished brother of Bert (Rhonda), Carol Conroy (Wayne), Rick (Chris) and Judy Heacock (Michael). Dear brother-in-law of Maureen O’Donnell (Al Lenis), Kathleen, Kevin, Terry, Brian and Eamon (Elaine) O’Donnell. Uncle Brian, ‘Sabi’, will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and their children. Brian retired from Ford Oakville after 30 years. Following that, he enjoyed marshalling at Copetown Woods Golf Course, golfing with the Dundas Valley Retirees Golf Association in Cambridge, curling at the Dundas Granite Club and learning to dance with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. A heartfelt thank you to the JCC staff especially Dr. Dhesy-Thind, the nurses on the Chemo Unit and all the wonderful support staff who Brian considered part of his family over the past 7 years. A special thank you to Dr. Beverly Hattersley, the nurses and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital, and to Dr. Angelo Zizzo for his ongoing support. In lieu of flowers, donations to Juravinski Cancer Centre in memory of Brian would be appreciated. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. It is with great sadness that Mark, Vivian and Janet (Fred) announce the passing of our wonderful mom Faye Isobel Medley on July 17, 2015. Mom was a strong and inspirational woman who treasured family above all else. She was generous to the core, resilient, courageous and had a feisty spirit. She will be forever remembered and cherished by her grandchildren Simon, Graham, Tessa, Lily, Michael and Adam, her greatest source of joy. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Janet Auliffe, siblings Joyce, Ross, Carl and Ken and survived by her sister Muriel. Details of celebration of life forthcoming. With the love and support of his family, Douglas (Dan) Alexander Drury passed away in his 86th year, on July 15, 2015. Beloved husband for 59 years of Joan Drury. Loving father of Kathryn Drury, David Drury (Cathy), and Jim Drury (Sheila). Grandfather to Meaghan, Alison, Spencer, Carolyn, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Hilary, Erin, Turner and Clare. He will be forever remembered by his brother Bill Drury (Betty) and his sister Jean Wilson (Roger), his sister-in-law Susan Sherman and brother-in-law Jim Abbey (Bette), and many nieces and nephews. Douglas will be missed by lifelong friends, Woody Thompson, Eric Clark, Jack McKay and Al Thompson and predeceased by Al Miners, Bob VanSickle and John Clark. A dedicated employee of Procter and Gamble for 42 years, Douglas was President of the employee Credit Union and an active organizer and volunteer at company picnics for many years. Doug was a member of St. Mark’s United Church from its inception and a choir member in his retirement. Special thanks to Jenn, Douglas’ nurse practitioner, and all of the wonderful staff at the Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service in honour of Doug at St. Mark’s United Church, 1 Lynndale Drive, Dundas, ON at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Boyle, Michael – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael on July 8, 2015, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Mary for 59 years and devoted father of Sean, Helen Kustra (Mike), Michael, and Brian (Anna). Grandfather to Ryan (Kristin), Matthew, Jason, Braydon, Madison and Michael. Great-grandfather to Alexis and Sydney. Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, Michael immigrated to Canada after serving in the Second World War. Michael loved living in Canada and spending time with his family. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, July 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Peacefully passed away at home on July, 4th 2015 at the age of 79. Ernie will be terribly missed by Joan, his beloved wife and best friend for 56 years. Ernie will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many close friends and neighbours on Paling Ave. He was very active and involved in the Studebaker Drivers Club, Vice president and president of the Ontario Chapter SDC as well as the founder and president of the Hamilton Chapter. Ernie was a man of much knowledge and a variety of skills and talents. He enjoyed the building of a classic show truck and was employed by the Wentworth County Board of Education for 21 years. Friends will be received by the family, on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Celebration of Ernie’s Life will take place on Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital with family by his side on Saturday, July 4 2015 in his 97th year. Sadly missed by his wife Cecelia of 78 years. Predeceased by his parents, two sisters, and four brothers. Survived by Jean (late Nick) Roccatagliata, Jo Ann (late Doug Buhlman) as well as his 5 grandchildren Mark (Tara) Pam, Leanne (Paul) Sandra (Colin) and Jamie Buhlman. George will be sadly missed by 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren as well as nephews and family in England. George worked for 30 years at Westinghouse, was a veteran of WWII Navy, a long time member and past president of the Dundas Legion Branch # 36. Member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Augustine’s Church. George retired to the Muskoka and he loved to travel to several beautiful countries. He enjoyed his time in Florida over the winters and lived a long happy life. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm. Cremation to follow and a Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at ST. AUGUSTINE’S PARISH, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas. Interment to follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dundas Legion Branch # 36 or St. Augustine’s Church would be appreciated by the family.

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of loving and dedicated wife of Phil Tufts of 34 years, adoring mother of Marley and Melaney (her M&M’s) and dearly loved daughter-in-law of Ralph Tufts (Dad). Beloved daughter of mother Dolores Gordon, and father Edward Luksha (deceased). Sister Nancy Gabrielse (Jan deceased). Brother Michael Luksha (Wife Helen). Predeceased by her loving brother Steven Luksha. Rosanne was a fun and most loved aunt (“T.T”) by her nieces and nephews and will be missed by all. Rosanne (Rosy) always had a special place in her heart for the Winchester family. Thank you for all the love, kindness and memories you have shared with our family over the years. Special thanks to the TGH Peter Munk building Ward 4B staff for their professional and compassionate care for Rosanne and our family throughout these difficult times.
