As I read about the incredible man your father was I see all the same traits have been passed on to his extraordinary daughter. He lives within you Laura and will be by your side always. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
I am very sad to hear of the passing of Chris.I worked with him at Canada Immigration or as he referred to it as ”my straight gig”.He was a kind person with a gentle soul who never spoke in anger although he did get mad at me once for being really late for an overtime assignment with him.He asked me to be in his wedding party and I happily accepted.I had a great time on his wedding day. Rest in peace,Chris
I’m sorry to hear of Chris’ passing. I worked along side of him at his recording studio.
Oh…I, so sorry to hear this. He was such a kind soul, who worked alongside my mother in the late ’80s and comforted me when my mother passed. Later he was a great support in my musical recording endeavours. Chris was a friend and I liked him very much and he was an important influence in my life who I enjoyed spending time with. I will miss the laughter we shared when I was able to visit.
Oh, Patti, I just saw this, what a terrible loss. I knew you and Chris back when you were teaching at Hess St., you were a magical couple, so great together. You always spoke about him with such deep love and admiration. He was a really special person, it just felt good to be around him. And so much fun with the Hallowe’en costume parties, playing piano and all the little surprises he thought up for you. I’m so glad I had the chance to know him. Even though it was many years ago, I still remember his great smile and the many happy stories you shared.
I worked with Chris briefly when he was with Immigration. Nicest guy I ever knew. He had me out to his house in Dundas once to see his music studio. It was amazing. Wonderful family too. Sad to see he’s gone.
