Poff, Fay (nee Thacker) – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on January 3, 2016. Loving mother of Christopher, Victoria (Simons), Rebecca and Rachel. Caring grandmother to Hannah, Carson, Alexandra and Caroline. Married to Keith Poff. Fay was born on October 1, 1931 in Fremantle, Western Australia to parents Irene Pharazyn and Charles Liljegren. Fay was a secretary in London, England and then immigrated to Canada where she was a secretary in Copper Cliff, Ontario at Inco Metals. She loved the outdoors, the ocean, swimming , tennis and had boundless energy. She loved travel, cooking, The Bee Gees, had great style and beauty and enjoyed caring for her family and friends with incredible zest for life. She will be missed and forever loved. A celebration of Fay’s life will be held Saturday January 30th at 11am at St. James’ Anglican Church, 137 Melville St, Dundas. Donations made to the Canadian Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

With great sadness we say goodbye to Gordon also fondly known as Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa and friend to so many. After a long struggle with the effects and challenges of diabetes he passed from this life into the presence of God at age 86, on Friday, January 8th, 2016. Left to mourn are his sons Barry Gordon (Diana) Hurren, Terry (Gladys) Farrow, and daughters Kimberley (Roland) Farrow LeJambe and Vicki Farrow (Randy Griffiths). Son of the late Robert and Olive Hurren of Campbellville. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Tamara, Jonathan, Adam, Trevor, Sydney, Ashley, Rachel, Khristel, Aimy and 7 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Harold, Lloyd and sisters Anna and Audrey. He was predeceased by wife Jacqueline Hurren, daughters Susan Hurren, Tracey Farrow, brother Russ and grandson Keith Farrow. Viewing and visitation will take place at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas on Wednesday January 13th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral and luncheon will follow at 11:00 am on Friday, January 15th, 2016 in St. David’s Presbyterian Church, 132 Main St N, Campbellville ON. We welcome all family and friends to celebrate Gordon’s life! In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Brewer, Jean Lillian – (nee Baker) – Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday January 6, 2016 in her 102nd year. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon (2009). Cherished mother of Fred (Donna), Robert (Paddi), Ron and Rick (Vicki). Much loved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Jean’s friends and the staff of Bertram Place. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Jean’s wishes there will be no funeral service.

Page, Robert McClellan (Bob) – Passed away peacefully at the age of 83, on January 4th 2016 after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Cancer. Robert (Bob) Page of Dundas, born on October 15 1932 in Hamilton. Loving husband of Lou Page (nee Walker). Proud father of Christopher (Nina) of Hamilton, Carol of Penticton, British Columbia and Sandra (Grant) of Waterdown. Adoring Papa of Taylor, Jacob, Matthew, Adam and Quinten. Brother of Douglas Page and the late Jim Page and sister-in-law Maryellen. Bob was an avid golfer, and a long-term member of the Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club. He was a passionate skier, teaching for many years at the Chedoke Ski Club and later on skiing as a member of the Chicopee Ski Club in Kitchener. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Wentworth Lodge in Dundas for their tremendous compassion and care. Visitation will be held at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas on Thursday afternoon and evening from 3-5 & 7-9. Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) of Hamilton.

Belmore, Joan (nee White) – It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Joan on January 1, 2016 in her 81st year. Devoted wife of Ronald (Ron) Belmore for 64 years. Loving and kind hearted mother of Linda Bullard (Nat), Cathie Belmore, Jo-anne Camp, Nancy McKay (Al), Karen Pollington (Rick), Doris Boyce (Steve), and Marianne Coleman (Dan). Proud grandmother of Brandon, Sara, Carly, Courtney, Tyler, James, Ryan, Jason, Roni, Matthew, Jordan and Lauren. Loved by a growing number of great-grand children. Dear sister of Bryan White (Anne). Predeceased are her brothers Michael (Sue) and Peter (Dana). Dedicated niece of Joan Rousell (Jack). Joan will be missed by her extended family and many friends. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas, on Tuesday January 5th from 2-4p.m., and again from 6-8p.m. The service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 6th at 11a.m.. Joan lived a selfless life. She was happiest when spending time with her family and friends. She volunteered her time to many causes and was a member of the Dundas Legion, Br. 36. Special thanks to Dr. Oczpowski and the staff at the Hamilton General Hospital, 7th Floor. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation and also the Juravinski Cancer Center, Hamilton ON.

Keller, Margaret Catherine (nee Craig) – Peacefully at Innisfree House with loving family by her side, Margaret passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Predeceased by her husband William. Loved always by her sons Craig (Linda Shepard) and Cameron (Cindy) and her grandchildren Scott, Erin, Christopher and Rachel. Predeceased by her sister Isabel Dougher. Margaret was a lifetime member of Knox Presbyterian Church and long time employee of Stevenson & Lehocki Chartered Accountants in Burlington. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, December 31st from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Margaret’s Service at 11:00 a.m. at KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 23 Melville Street, Dundas. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at a later date.
