He is survived and deeply loved by his parents Mary Kay and Brian; brothers Samuel (Kitty) and Nigel; grandparents Aileen and Keith Coates; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Ron and Vi Grolla and Uncle Bob. Marlon had exquisite taste in food, music, books, art and had a great sense of humour. Friends will be received by the family on Monday November, 28th from 3-5 p.m. at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Marlon`s Celebration of Life will follow Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In kindness, donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Dear Marlon,
Thank you for making me your sister! <3
I will never forget all the days we spent together over the summer, especially when we went on a trip alone together to the dinosaur golf course in Muskoka!
I will never forget the walks you took me on when Sammy was working but we both had the same days off!
I will never forget the times you hugged me, the times we laughed together and the times we spent goofing off!
Truth is… I will never forget you! You will ALWAYS be alive in my heart!
Thank you for making such wonderful memories that I will cherish the rest of my life! I'm sorry we couldn't make more together!!!!

Dear Sam, Nigel, Mary Kay & Brian,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Marlon’s passing. I remember when I moved to Canada from the states, Marlon was my first friend. I was so afraid to be in a new school where I didn’t know anybody and I’d spend my lunches searching for him. I think I was his shadow in those early days.. He always included me, looked out for me, and was always there to listen when I needed someone to talk to. I’m grateful to have known him and send my deepest condolences to you all.
Love,
Isabel
