Lewis, Patricia Marie (nee Sweeney) – With gratitude for her life but with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother and loving nana, Patricia Marie, on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014, in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband, Bruce (2008); her sons, Arthur (1976), and John (1998); and her daughter, Charlene (2008). She will be forever missed by her children, Michelle, Michael, Kathryn, Denice, Sharon, and Angela; as well as her sons-in-law, Fred, Kevin, and John. She will remain in the hearts of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pat is now reunited with her siblings, Paul, Arthur, Madeline, and Anita. Special thanks to the Willowgrove Old Mill staff for their care. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday evening from 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. A private family Service and Burial will take place. Donations in Pat’s memory to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

Parr, Lance Trevor – It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lance Parr on October 8th, 2014 at age 47. Lance is survived by his parents Colin & Stella, older brother Kent and wife Joan, and younger sister Tanya and husband David. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. We only wish that we had more time to spend with you.
Visitation at Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, on Thursday, October 16th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nature Conservancy of Canada or a charity of your choice.

Robillard, Ethel Beulah – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on Monday, October 6, 2014, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Eldon (1995), and loving mother of James (Margaret) of Simcoe, Carol (Herb White), of Cayuga, Len (Evelyn) of Ancaster, Barbara Robillard (Ken) of Dundas, Laura (Brian Book) of Millgrove, the late Alan (Arlene) and the late Mark (Oksana). Ethel will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, her sister Joan Fink, 3 brothers; John, Ken and Jim Lewis, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Marjorie, Edith, Bruce, Cecil, Murray and Grace. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Service for Ethel will be held Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Cedar Grove at St. Joseph’s Villa for the care and compassion shown to Ethel.

Blysniuk, Dorothy Diane (nee Howes) – With immense sorrow we announce the passing of Dorothy Diane Blysniuk on October 3, 2014 in her 85th year. Born in Dundas, February 19, 1930. The daughter of the late George and Margaret Howes. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her loving husband Alex Blysniuk. Greatly loved and missed by her children Carol (Bill) Chesney, George (Shari) Anderson, Debra (Wayne) Anderson-Porter, Cheryl (Don) Forshner, Patti Dyment and son in law Gerald Baresich. She was the beloved grandmother of Shane Phillipo, David Phillipo, Rachel Anderson-Gleeson, Beth Taylor, Amie Barter, Leah Anderson, Zachary Anderson, James Porter, Nicole Porter, Chelsea Forshner, Trisha Forshner, Sarah Dyment-Smith, Jessica Dyment and fourteen beautiful great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Ronald James Anderson from Troy, ON. Predeceased by much loved sisters and brothers, Ruth Howes, Helen Paddon, Alex Howes, Jean Patterson, Bill Howes, Grace Webb, Sue Jaggard and Betts Nelson. A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Friday October 10th from 1-4 p.m. at the Collins Brewhouse (downstairs) 33 King Street, West Dundas. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, (ICU Unit) or St. Joseph’s Health Care London (Ivey Eye Institute).

Snelling, Doris May – Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, October 3, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Chuck of 58 years. Dearley loved and missed by her children Joan Widdup (late Robert), Charles (Gisele), Donald (Sandra) and Jennifer Wolkowski (Frank); son-in-law Steve; brother Paul Inglehart; sisters Vera Hiese (Bill) and Juanita Nagy (Julius); 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughters Deborah Kidd and Catherine Plevak; brothers Gord, Bill, Lloyd and Jack and sister Grace. Doris was a member of Binkley United Church and member of Unit 5 of the Church. Special thanks are extended to the staff at Hardy Terrace Nursing Home for their care and compassion and to the nurses and doctors at Brantford General. Friends will be received by the family on Monday evening from 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas where Doris’ Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
