May 3, 1942-May 18, 2024
It is with much sadness that we announce Mike’s peaceful passing on May 18, 2024 surrounded by his family, his pride and joy.
Loving husband of Libby, dear Dad of Beth & Rob, Dave & Amanda, Steve & Christine. Proud Grandpa of Jessica & Amy, Emily & Gracie, Scott & Julia. Brother-in-law of John Hopkins and the late Joyce & Charlie Dobbie . Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Toddy & Vi McKee. Mike graduated in Economics and Business from McMaster University, attained his Chartered Accountant designation and retired as Vice-President, Finance, of Jervis B. Webb Co. of Canada. Mike loved sports (playing, coaching and cheering) and was an avid fan of the Habs and Ti-Cats. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Balsam Trail, St. Joseph’s Villa for their compassionate care.
Mike was a passionate supporter of the Neonatal Unit at McMaster Children’s Hospital. . Donations to this unit or St. Joseph’s Villa in his memory would be appreciated by Mike’s family.
Visitation will be on Monday June 3rd, 4-7 p.m. at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas.
“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
Uncle Mike was so dearly loved. His laugh lingers on in my memories. It was most unfortunate that he cheered for the wrong sports teams haha I know he’d be laughing at that.
Libby and Family, we are very sorry to hear of your sad loss, our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

To Libby and family…..it was sad to know of your loss. As one time Dundas residents, we enjoyed events where we met Mike and he always
extended a bright smile and warm greetings to us. We know he will be missed by many not only all his family but his many friends. Our sincerest condolences to you all.
Libby, Beth, David, Steven & families, my sincerest condolences to you all.
When Nancy & I moved to Dundas in 1968 we first met. Over the first 12 years we were neighbors and our kids started to grow up together. When we moved to Oakville in 1980, we continued to go back and forth for Chinese dinners with you and other neighbors for the next 40 years. Even though Mike has passed and is now at peace, we will have the great memories of a great life lived.
Peace to all and will see you on the 3rd.
JOHN
My husband Warren Webb worked with Mike at Jervis B. Webb Company (not a Webb relation), and spoke highly of Mike. Warren was Quality Assurance Manager until 1991. My sincerest condolences to the family.

to Libby, Beth, Dave, Steve and grandkids…….I extend my deepest condolences. As your former neighbor on Pleasant Avenue (going back to 1969?) I spent many Friday and Saturday nights babysitting your precious bundles! We had many great chats with you and Mike over the fence, and it was a delight to keep in contact with you over the years after our move to Ottawa. May the happy memories of family gatherings , time spent together sustain you.
