Dennett, Diane Jean (nee Wallace) – Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on Friday, September 7, 2018. Predeceased by husband Jake. Diane will be deeply loved and missed by her brother David and wife Joan; nieces Lisa and Kristen and great-niece Ava Victoria. Her dog Corki misses her dearly. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 until the time of Diane’s Service at 1:00 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Cremation will follow. If you so wish, donations to the Ancaster Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Diane during the 10 days we were roommates at St. Joe’s. Diane was one of the sweetest, funniest, and tender-hearted women I’ve ever known. I know she was deeply loved by her friends and family and will be missed dearly (I too, will miss her so much). It was a privilege to know you Diane-even for that short period. I only wish we’d met sooner and under much better circumstances. To Diane’s family and friends: she was so grateful to have you and your never-ending support. I wish you all the greatest comfort and please know my prayers will be with you always.
Sincerely,
Melissa Lloyd
TO Diane’s family – I have had the indeed pleasure of knowing her as a client of the bank. Diane was always a pleasure to deal with and she always had such a positivity about herself even with the rather recent passing of Jake and all her dealings with him before, this was truly a wonderful lady. May you all know that she will be truly missed.
Diane was a client of ours and beyond, she was a dear friend. We shared many stories over the years and laughed a good many times. She will be deeply missed as is Jake, who always had a painting hanging in our office when we were in Dundas. God Bless both of them, they are now together. Sending much love and support to her family, you were everything to her.
