July 12, 1942 – September 1, 2016
LEWIS, (nee Smith) Marlene Dorothy “Koo Koo”. Born July 12, 1942. It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our mom, wife and grandmother on Thursday, September 1, 2016. She leaves behind her husband Ken of 54 years, their 3 children Shawn (Barb), Kim (Mike), Robyn and 8 grandchildren, Felicia, Dustin, Austin, Jessie, Oliver, Ashley, Arden and Emerald. She was dearly loved by many nieces, nephews and friends and will be greatly missed by all. She had a wicked sense of humor, a contagious laugh and was extremely young at heart. She was the greatest woman on earth and a huge hole has been left with her passing. If you hear any rumbling in the sky you’ll know she is up in heaven now with her mom and dad, brother and many of our dad’s brothers and sisters having one heck of a hoedown and reunion. We love you Koo Koo. You will never be forgotten. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where Marlene’s Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Thinking of the Lewis Family…..Deepest condolences to the family thinking of all of you. May she be resting in peace xo

It is with great sadness that I send my condolences to my Lewis family. I will never forget her uplifting warm smile, her twinkling eyes and great big hugs. Most of all, I will always remember her incredible and sometimes dirty sense of humor and unconditional love. I know KooKoo is partying by the campfire with those that have gone on before and saving a seat for those of us yet to come. I feel honored to have known and love her. Forever in my heart… Pussy Pussy Pussy Cat!! Lisa Kaposy
