July 4, 2005 – October 1, 2015
Dendekker, Warren Edward – It is with profound sadness that we announce that the LORD has unexpectedly taken Warren, age 10, to Himself on Thursday evening, October 1, 2015. He was the beloved son of Peter & Sandra Dendekker of Dundas, and dear brother of Emma, Noah, and Katherine. Cherished grandson of Simon & Henny Kranendonk of Ancaster and Peter Dendekker Sr. of Copetown. Warren was also much loved by many aunts’ uncles & cousins. Predeceased by his Nana, Nellie Dendekker (2005), and cousin, Byron Kloetstra (2006). Also missed by countless family and friends from near and far. Many and special thanks to Warren’s dear Aunt Wendy Roth, Dr. Sandra Malpass, Dr. Jim Spring, as well as staff of Peace Haven and teachers and staff at Beverly Central School for all their care and support over the years. If desired, memorial donations to The Sanfilippo Childrens Research Foundation or Peace Haven Free Reformed Association would be gratefully received by the family. Visitation Monday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Maranatha Free Reformed Church, 1114 Old Mohawk Road, Ancaster. Interment Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at White Chapel Cemetery, followed by the Funeral Service Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at Maranatha Free Reformed Church.
“They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up their wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

1 John 3:1-2 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
Our sincere sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your beloved son.
Dalton and Joan Whitehouse

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. We lost our 9 year old son to Sanfilippo syndrome last month.
May the beautiful memories of your beautiful son help carry you through times when moving forward seems
Impossible. My heart is with you all at this devastating time.
So sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter Megan to Sanfilippo syndrome in December of 2013. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Extremely sorry to hear about your sudden loss. I know Warren had a special place in your life and will be in your hearts forever.

Dear Peter, Sandra, and family,
May the Lord give all of you the strength and grace that can only come from Him. I’ve only known your family for a short time and I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Warren. It sounded like he was a very special boy, and although we miss him greatly, we can rejoice that he is now in the hands of his heavenly Father. May God show you this hope and comfort.
We as a school community share this grief and sadness with you. We pray that you would experience the nearness of God and the strength and support of your covenant community.
“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him…Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:14, 18).
Dear Peter & family
How deeply saddened I am to hear of your loss. Words cannot express my condolences and I only hope you find some comfort with those whom are close to you, love you and support you.
Sincerely
George Simeonoff
Dear Family, may God bless the prayers of His people as they lift your family up before the throne of His grace in the Name of Jesus. You know where your comfort lies. Your love and care for your children is a testimony of God’s grace in your lives. May His sufficient grace continue to uphold you as you journey through life without Warren’s presence.
I was a student teacher at Beverly Central, teaching Warren’s “Room 9” class in 2012. I did not hide the fact that Warren was “my favourite” student; in fact, I think most staff knew I had a soft spot for him and tried to work 1:1 with him any chance I got. I still remember the first time I walked into the classroom and I saw Warren’s huge smile as he said “Hi! Hi, hi, hi hi! HI! HI!” giggling. That was it- I was sold on this sweet, sweet little boy with the biggest smile. I’ll never forget our trip to Marineland at the end of the school year. I took Warren to ride on the tea cup ride and was worried about how he would react. He laughed hysterically the entire time, which of course made me laugh as well. Warren; my heart breaks for the loss your family must feel. I know you must be singing and clapping and running with the angels. Though I knew you for only a short time, you left a lasting impression. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Dear Sandra and family,
Both personally and on behalf of all the members of 100 Women Who Care – Hamilton-Wentworth, we send our deepest condolences to you and yours. Our thoughts and prayers are with as you move forward.
Fondly,
Megan Hoernke

Dear Sandra & Peter, I was deeply shocked last night when I heard you had lost Warren.
We went to Spain Sep/Oct. October 1st is our wedding anniversary, we visited the Cathedral in Seville where I came
Face to face with a huge painting of “The Guarding Angel”…it completely froze me, such strong feelings went through me, now I know why…
You will know me as the lady who makes “Roses for Sanfilippo”…..just want you to know I am so very sorry you lost Warren.
I promise to keep working to help find a cure. With love Eleanor
