Dear Mrs Hand, Lori and John…so sorry to hear the news. Mr Hand was a cornerstone in my early life. Instrumental in teaching me so many hands on skills that I still use today and instilling in me morality, respect, compassion and understanding.
We have joked about it in the past but at the time he was like a second father.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My condolences Lori, to you and your family.
I only knew joseph as a patient, but his zest for life, and positive attitude though recurrent life threatening illness over years was truly remarkable. It was a privilege to participate in his care.He will not be forgotten!
As a physician he taught me that it not what you are given but what you do with what your given that is the measure of the man!
My condolences Lori to you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of need.
We were sorry to read of Mr Hand’s passing. It brought us back to the 70’s decade when we were neighbors. It was a great place to grow up with fond memories of your Husband & Dad. Warm regards from the Yff’s.
Mrs. Hand, John & Lori … We are saddened to learn of the passing of your Husband/Father. He was such a delight to meet when walking in the neighbourhood … He always had a Smile and appropriate comment for the day. My last greeting to Him was some time ago while He was enjoying the evening while sitting at the front entrance to your Beautiful home. We cherish our Memories of Him and Offer our Thoughts and Prayers for each of You.
Blessings with Favour

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Hand. Growing up with John, he and Mrs. Hand always made me feel welcomed in their home where John and I spent many hours in their basement.
My deepest condolences to Mrs. Hand, John and Lori

Dear Aunt Gerrie:
I was so very sorry to hear of Uncle Ben’s death. I remember him most when I was a little girl & Ma & Pa lived at the Survey. When we moved from Hamilton to California I had just turned 13, so my memories after that are scarce. But mom and dad always told me all the stories about the fun times they had visiting with all of you when they came back to Canada for their many trips, and of course we have exchanged Christmas cards for years. I know you will miss him very much. You were always such a lovely couple and he adored you, as did mom and dad. I’m so glad that you have Lori and John to help you through this sad time….one of my cousins on mom’s side of the family sent me an e-mail with the website information.
Love….Marilyn
