Passed away Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, a day after turning 90 years old. William is survived by his daughter, Cindy Windsor and son, Ed Kusins (Candace). Loving Opa to Jake (Madison), Clint (Kailey), Hayley and Riley. Great Grandpa (Opa Opa) to Rowan. Very loved Uncle Willy to his nieces and nephews. William is predeceased by his loving wife, Jutta “Judy”; father, Anton and mother, Adele; brother, Talis and sister, Vally. William was born in Riga, Latvia on July 27th, 1932 and came to Canada as a young man where he met his dearest wife Jutta in Hamilton. William was always known for his one of a kind sense of humour, “unfiltered” character and endless life stories that he shared. He was loved by many whether it was through his time working at the Ford Truck Plant in Oakville, socializing at the local hockey rinks, or the many years living in his beloved town of Dundas. William enjoyed spending time up at his cottage on Ahmic Lake in Magnetawan, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A celebration of William’s life (Willy style) will be held on August 10th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas.
Our condolences to the whole family. We will miss his smiling face and infectious laughter. Rest in peace my friend.
