February 27, 1928 – February 5, 2022
With love and gratitude, we say goodbye to our fun-loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was affectionately known to many as Marg or Margie. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Ann (Phil) Ruch; mother-in-law to Russ Powers (Betty Cartwright). Loving grandmother to Patricia (Jamie) Balardo, Scott Powers, and Jennifer (Clinton) Syrowitz, as well as 2 great grandchildren, Christopher and Sean Balardo. She is also survived by her sisters Grace Stutt and Erna Whetham, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Irwin (“Tim”) Eaton (2008), daughter Linda Powers (2009) and siblings Jim (Alice) Hall, Lorne (AnnaMae) Hall, and Mary (Don) Warren. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Michael West, St. Elizabeth Health PSW’s, and staff at Amica Dundas, for their compassionate care. A private service has been held. Expressions of sympathy to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to the Eaton and Powers families
We have fond memories of times with Marg and Tim, in both Knox, Dundas and Heritage, Brantford . Marg was always encouraging and fun to be with! We send our sympathy to Marg’s family.
We were former neighbours of Marg and always appreciated her spirit of fun and cache of wonderful jokes, even some a little off colour! She and her sisters all together in one building lived their onw lives but were dearest friends. We missed her when she moved and even more now.
We were neighbours of Marg’s for many years and enjoyed her free spirit and cache of jokes, some even off colour. We missed her when she moved and even more now.
I have many fond memories of Aunt Marg, she could always bring laughs and jokes to any family event. She will be missed but lovingly remembered. Sending hugs to all 🤗
My deepest condolences Ann and Phil. I know she is safely home now with your Dad.
May she now rest after being such a presence in you lives.
Hugs and love, you are in my prayers.
Bill and I were so sorry to learn of Mrs. Eaton’s death. We know that as a family you will miss her greatly, but we hope that the many happy memories of a life well lived, will bring you and all of your family comfort.
My condolences to the Ann, Russ Powers and their families on Marg’s passing. I worked for the family funeral business(Cattel & Eaton)from 1972-1976 and always found Marg to be very friendly. May she rest in peace.
We were so fortunate to have friends like Margie and Tim Eaton. Great memories
of our times together in Florida, the Knox Couples Club group, the WMS group at
Knox. Margie always had a twinkle in her eye and a wonderful sense of humour.
We send our sincere sympathies to all the family.

Our condolences to the Eaton Family. I grew up on Mayfair Ave. in Dundas and often played at the Eaton home with Linda and Ann. There are many happy memories of those days.

I knew Marg when she was Al Greenleaf’s secretary at the Wentworth County Board of Education and I taught at Ancaster High School. For various reasons we met up with each other at meetings etc and often gave each other rides. She was fun and also a thing that was delightful: a lady.
