Till, Asta (nee Senila) – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in her 92nd year. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Arnold, and her son Erik. She is survived by her son Roy and his wife Nicole and 5 grandchildren, Shawn (Leanne), Tammy (Scott), Alana, Natasha, and Mia; and 5 great-grandchildren Leia, Ethan, Matthew, Noah, and Connor. “Mummu” was loved by all and was known for her kind disposition, never complaining, and quietly accepting both the sorrows and beauty of life. She is well remembered for her always effervescent smile. Many thanks to the kind staff at Wentworth Lodge which was her home for the last 4 years. Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 22 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas at 12:00 p.m. and are welcome to remain for Asta’s Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Godspeed Mummu and much love to all of you during this time. Mummu was always so welcoming when we were visiting and her smile and gentleness will never be forgotten. We will always remember her incredible storytelling talent and her lovely laugh with fondness. She was truly a gem and always accepted people for who they were.
