Waud, James Edwin George – With his family by his side, James passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 76. He will be dearly loved and missed by his wife Ruth of 54 years; his children David, Jeff and Michele (John Pacheco); grandchildren Lauren, Ryan, Ian, Daryl and Andrew and his brother Gary and sister Janice. James was a dedicated employee of the Dominion Stores for over 40 years. A special thank you to Dr. Ingram and Nurse Mike at the Nephrology Dept. at St. Joseph’s Hospital and to the Stoney Creek Dialysis Team. In keeping with James’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family Service and burial will take place. If you so wish, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
Our thoughts go to you and your family. To us, Jim was a good friend and neighbour; we miss him.
We have wonderful memories of Jim, always happy and smiling at the many holidays spent at Jeff and Marlene’s. We are sorry for your loss but are sure he is in a good place ..Lori and Mike

Coming to work and seeing Jim made my day, he was always there to greet me……. His early morning conversations about his family, and how proud he was of each of his famly members made me realize how great of a person Jim was. Jim fought a hard battle and he is truly missed!!! Your Dad was a solid mark on our football family in Hamilton for many years, he left behind many memories of his support for his grandchildren when competing in the game. He showed himself to be a fighter in the final years of his life and will be remembered and missed at the games. Our thoughts are with you all at this time.

The first time we met JIm was at the football field in Rockton, his grandson, Andrew and my son, Shane were on the same team for three years in a row. Jim truly enjoyed cheering on the boys and his love for football was apparent. Our thoughts go out to the family during this tough time.
