Peacefully at the Meadows on July, 1 2013 in her 94th year, wife of the late Bill Braat. Loved by her children; Herma Rossin (Cliff), Robert deRuiter (Elaine), Louis deRuiter (June), Jane Braat and Peggy Gaudet. Loving grandmother to Shane, Clarence (deceased) Lenora, Lance, Luke, Christie, Buffy, Cassandra and Nicholas. Survived by many great grandchildren, sister Ina Maarleveld and brother Pieter Timmerman in Holland. Private funeral arrangements. Thanks to the wonderful staff at the Meadows in Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the S.P.C.A or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
I am a volunteer at the Meadows. My dog Buddy and I have been visiting Eileen Willlams for the past 2 years. During this time I have gotten to know Cora. She loved Buddy and would love to play with him at our visits. She was such a wonderful lady and I was honoured to know her. She was always friendly and happy.
Eileen is very sad, and I know she will miss your Mom.
Rest eternal grant unto her oh Lord.
God Bless Heather Clark
We are so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing.
She was a very special lady and we often speak of her.
She will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Herma and your family during this time of sadness.
Love Joan and family
Mary Ann & I want to extend our heartfelt condolences to Cora’s entire family. However, for myself, it was to Cora and Herma and Cliff that I was more known through the Ancaster Strikes & Spares Bowling League some ten or twelve years ago. Cora & I were regarded as the entertainmet each Friday night because of the friendly banter that we engaged in while we bowled – believe me Cora could hand it out just as much as take it in the manner it was intended. For my wife it was more Elaine and June & Louis and their kids that my wife was involved with through
Binkley United Church. May God’s blessings be yours through this trying time. Victor Rowe.
Know that we are thinking of you all. Keep all the good memories nearby.
I’m so sorry to hear about Cora, my sincere condolences to the family, she was always so warm and friendly whenever I met up with her.

Hugs and kisses. xxoo Karen, Pino and family
I am a volunteer at the Ancaster Meadows Longterm Care Facility and got the opportunity over the past few years to engage in some good and comical conversations with your mom. She was a very feisty yet kindly woman. My children also volunteer there and my son who is 14 years old had a good chuckle with your mom as he was working in the Tuck Shop. Your mom rolled in with her wheelchair and preceded to engage him in some light banter. He was saddened to hear of her passing. She will be missed.
