Sorry to read of Betty’s death in the paper today.I met Betty when I worked at Eaton’s in the 1960’s. Have been friends with her for many years. We have good memories of fun times together. More recently Bill made railings for her to help George negotiate the steps and get out. Our heartfelt sympathy to the family at this time.
Such a shock, was speaking to her only last month. Worked for many years together at Eaton’s. My deepest sympathy to the family.
So Sorry to hear the sad news about the passing of Betty. Our heartfelt thought are with the family.Esther,Doug Macdonald &Junior Wardlaw.
I will never forget all the fun times me and Rosie had at your house Lisa. Playing with makeup, going swimming, and your dad’s sense of humour.. and pretending we were on the high sea’s in the boat in the backyard.. My childhood is forever riddled with these great memories. Never forgotten… Never will be.
Just knowing they were there was a comfort.. I will miss them both..
Deepest sympathy.
Angie
Thoughts are with all the family. Currently listening to a Canadian radio station on the iPad and thinking of the fond memories of Aunty Betty and Uncle George. Bless you all from the family in Scotland, Sharon xxx (Brian and Lynne’s daughter)
