Hodkin, Allan Douglas – Passed away peacefully at Emmanuel House on October 25, 2017. Beloved husband of Diana (nee Hill). Loving father of Jordon (Kirk). An interment will take place at Garner Cemetery. Caring brother to Joseph (Jocelyn) and sister Marlane. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Allan was the former owner of Thompson & Baldwin in Dundas. Employee of Jean’s Flower Shop and Shavers Flowers. Thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hamilton – Kidney Dialysis – King Campus, the staff at Emmanuel House, Green Acres Apartments and the many friends who cared for him. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

MIJATOVIC, Peter Paul – March 18, 1960 to October 26, 2017 – It is with great pain and sorrow that the family of Peter announce his passing on October 26, 2017, at home, after a brave and courageous battle with lung cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife, and best friend, Jill. Loved and sadly missed by his father Peter Sr. (Barbara), sister Barbara Butler (Jim), brother Tony (Irene), and sister Linda Maddocks. Reunited with his late mother Ann (1981). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Dundas, on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. Memorial Service scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Turner Family Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Center would be appreciated.

Turk, Margaret (nee Douglas, formerly Reavey) – Passed away peacefully at Gateway Haven LTC on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 with family by her side.  Predeceased by first husband Philip Reavey and second husband Frederick Turk.  Dearly loved and missed by her daughters Roseleen (Arnold Turk) and Kathleen Reavey Lee, son Alan Caulton, grandchildren William Philip Lee and Gabrielle Dominique Lee and sister Nancy Ballinger.  Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Gateway Haven for their excellent care of Mum.  Friends will be received by the family on Friday afternoon from 12:45 – 1:45 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas.  Funeral Mass will follow at ST. AUGUSTINE’S CHURCH, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas at 2:00.  Interment St. Augustine’s Cemetery.  If you so wish, donations to the Parkinson Society Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Leroux, Robert Michael “Bob” – Peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital after a brave battle with cancer, on Friday, October 20, 2017, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Valen “Val” (nee O’Brien) and loving father to James Leroux and Matthew (Emily) Innes-Leroux. Bob is survived by his brothers; Larry, Paul, David and Kevin and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Mark. Bob was a member of the Dundas Senior Citizens’ Club. Friends will be received by the family on Friday morning from 10 until the time of Bob’s service at 11 o’clock at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, followed by a reception at the Cattel Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dundas Senior Citizens’ Club would be appreciated by the family.

Stone, Jean Gertrude (nee Savage)

Stone, Jean Gertrude (nee Savage) – Peacefully at Rosemary Heights Seniors Village in Surrey, BC on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Stone (2000), and loving mother to Lynn, her husband Bruce Weber and the Reverend Glenn Stone. Loving Grandmother to Robert and wife Andrea and Michael and wife Kristin Weber. Dear great grandmother of Sophia, Gordon, James, Olivia and Laura. Survived by her brother Alex and wife Freda Savage and predeceased by her brothers Alfie and Roy and her sisters Lil Taylor and Dorothy Kyle. Jean was a long-time resident of Dundas, a member of Christ Church Flamborough and founding member of the Dundas Red Hat Mommas. Jean was a licenced ham radio operator (VE3BCP) and past member of Macassa Bay and Port Perry Yacht Clubs. Jean will be held in the hearts of family and friends forever. Friends are invited to visit with Jean’s family on Monday afternoon and evening from 2-5 & 7-9 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at CHRIST CHURCH ANGLICAN, 92 Highway 8, Greensville. Interment Christ Church Cemetery. In thanksgiving for Jean’s life and gifts, donations to the Hamilton-Burlington SPCA or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
