It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Dolores Muldoon. After a lengthy illness, Dolores passed away peacefully on the morning of December 24, 2024 at Dundurn Place, 39 Mary St, Hamilton.
Predeceased by her parents Robert Sr. and Genevieve Muldoon, brother Paul, stepbrother Patrick Masse and Sister Dorothy. Survived by her brothers Robert Jr, John, William, Michael and Thomas and her sister Bernadette St. James. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved Dolores dearly.
Cremation will take place.
Visitations will occur from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday January 9, 2025 at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Dundas Ontario. Funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday January 10, 2025 at St. Augustine’s Church, 58 Sydenham St, Dundas. Dolores will be placed to rest in Simcoe, Ontario following the service.
With heavy hearts we say good bye to Michael (Mike) who passed away, in his 76th year, at St. Joseph’s Hospital on December 12th, 2024 due to heart failure.
Loving husband of 55 years to Patricia (Pat) Capriotti Saunders. Father of Barbra (Barbi) Saunders-Scott and Michael (Mick) Saunders, Grampa of Taylor, Emmerie, Jazmine, Haiz and Dylan.
Predeceased by his parents William and Barbara and his brother Bill.
Survived by his brothers Phil (Sandy) and Doug (Penny).
Mike was a retiree of Dofasco.
A very special thank you to Dr. James Williams and staff. Special thanks to the ICU staff for your support in Mike’s final hours. To honour Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Eleanor Case passed away on December 17, 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ron (1997), her sister Shirley (Albert, deceased), brother Ron (Mary, deceased), brother Kenny (Millie deceased).
Eleanor will be missed and fondly remembered by her family. Her sister Jean (Cliff) Sons Dave (Andria), Rodger and Randy. Grandchildren Bridgett (Pete), Neil, Leah (Byron), Joel (Jenn) and Dylan (Kausha). Great-grandchildren Kylie, Aubrey, Nathan, and River.
Eleanor was known for her award- winning gardens. She enjoyed traveling, line-dancing, a good game of euchre, knitting, feeding the birds, cooking, and baking bunny cakes for her grandchildren.
When her husband of 44 years passed away, Eleanor started a new stage of life, eventually moving into her own townhome at St. Elizabeth Village. In her 20 years in the village, she made many friends, enjoying activities in the clubhouse and visits that often included a glass of wine.
A special gratitude to Eleanor’s sons, Randy and Rodger, who for the past 4 years were dedicated to providing 24/7 care, enabling Eleanor to remain in her own home. Cremation has taken place and a family gathering will take place at a later date.
Beloved wife of Andrew for 64 wonderful years, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, on December 17th, in her 100th year. Loving mother of Maryanne (Romeo), Paul (Paula), Margaret (Mark), Madeline (Richard), and Barbara (David). Beloved Gran of Meghan (Mark), Alison (Adam), Sarah, Catherine, John, Owen, Esmée, Seph, Tonnán, Raffi, Erin, Kate and Emma. Great Gran of Felix, Maverick and Mackenzie. Daughter of the late Edward Patrick Farrell and Evarista Morin. Sister of John (predeceased in WWII), and Dr. William Farrell (predeceased).
Mary attended Loretto Academy in Hamilton, obtained her B.A. from St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto, and her M.A. from the University of Wisconsin, where she met Andrew. She taught English and Music and conducted choirs, first at Brampton Secondary and later at Delta Secondary School in Hamilton.
Full of faith and courage, Mary was the founder and first president of Hamilton Right to Life. She also held several positions with the McMaster Women’s Club and was a prominent member of both the Bach-Elgar Choir and the Catholic Women’s League. She travelled the world with Andrew, enjoyed badminton, bridge, as well as watching tennis and her beloved Tiger-Cats. Full of life until the end, Mary loved conversation, visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and discussing the news of the day.

Passed away suddenly, just twelve days shy of his 34th birthday on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
Brendan was a kind, loving, and caring soul who touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Known for his warmth and humor, he had an extraordinary ability to brighten any room with his presence. Whether sharing a laugh or offering a shoulder to lean on, Brendan’s compassion and light left an indelible mark on those around him.
He will be deeply missed by his devoted parents, his cherished aunt and uncle, his many beloved cousins and relatives, his loving girlfriend, his friends, and his colleagues who became like family. Brendan’s spirit and legacy will live on in the memories and hearts of the countless lives he impacted. A Celebration of Brendan’s Life will take place on Thursday, December 19 from 7:00 – 9:30p.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas, ON. Memories will be shared at 8:00p.m.
