With a deep sadness we announce the passing of Neil on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Tina for 49 years, loving father of Mark and Keith and father-in-law to Denise and Jillian. Dear brother of the late Cyril (Jean) and brother-in-law to Steve and Amanda. Pops will be greatly missed by his four granddaughters Shea, Fiona, Ciara and Gwen. Neil will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Neil enjoyed the simple things in life. He was happiest spending time with family, strolling down a trail with his beloved four legged friends or of course watching a Manchester United match. He had a quick, warm smile, gentle manner and a sense of humour about him that always made people feel welcome.
“And now these three remain:
Faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.”
1 Corinthians 13

Dear Tina, Mark and Keith,
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
Bruce, David, Julie and I have very fond memories of our ‘ BEACONSFIELD’ days spent together with the Dennis family.

Hi, Tina:
Tony just sent me a copy of Neil’s obituary. I confess to being shocked because he’s the kind of guy you expect to be around for ever – rather like, say, John Cantello or Roy Smith! Seems like only the other day I was wishing Neil well on his retirement – how quickly time passes as you get older. I like your reference to 1 Corinthians 13 -quite possibly some of the greatest words ever written.
Love and regards – Tim & Sheila
