November 16, 1928 – April 1, 2016
Howlett, Lenore (Lee-Marie) – November 16, 1928 – April 1, 2016 – Mom left us peacefully on Friday April 1, 2016. Reunited with husband Ralph and children Jamie, Greg and Marlene. Left to mourn, children Dave (Kathy), Deric (Merry), Patti (Royal) and six grandchildren. Mom was a well respected seamstress in the town of Dundas for over 30 years. With respect to mom’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will take place later in the spring. We will have a Celebration of Life in the near future. Special thanks to Blackadar Continuing Care and to Sandra for being there for mom. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by our family.
She was a beautiful person and will be greatly missed by many. She was one of the “town” moms, always smiling and willing to help anyone.
Love ya RIP

We loved Lee for her fun and fiestiness. She had a wicked sense of humour and often was happy to accept a random hug from staff. My thoughts go out to her family, especially Dave who was often was the only one the could make make her smile when she was having a bad day. She is missed.

Dear Dave, Deric and Patti
Just spoke to Mom (Aunt Dorothy) and she informed me of your Mom’s passing. It has been years since we have been in touch. You have been thought of often over the years. It is never easy to lose a parent. I hope you all find peace and warmth in your hearts through fond memories of time spent together. I will always remember our visits with you all in London on Springbank Dr. warm summer days playing in the yard and a drive-in restaurant across the road. If ever in the west, look us up.
