Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in her 93rd year. Maria is predeceased by her husband Johann (1989). Cherished mother of Brigitte (Patrick) and John (Caroline). Beloved sister of Sara and was predeceased by her two other sisters Katarina and Hannah. Much loved grandmother of Kristopher (Melissa), Matthew, Daniel, Samantha and Sarah and great grandmother of Aria. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Brigitte and Patrick, Kristopher and Melissa, Matthew and Daniel, we send you our heartfelt prayers and condolences on the passing of Mary. We always enjoyed her company when we visited you. She was beautiful on the outside, as well as on the inside, and most importantly, she had her name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. God’s Word assures us that for those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Rejoice that Mary is made completely whole now and is having a grand time, not just with Jesus, but with family and friends who have already gone on to heaven. Soon Jesus will scroll back the sky and “the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we be with the Lord forever.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16,17 We love you and will keep you in prayers.
Sorry we can’t be with you at this difficult time. Thinking of you all and with deepest sympathy

Aus der Lieben Kreis geschieden,
aus dem Herzen aber nie,
weinet nicht, sie ruht in Frieden,
doch für uns starb sie zu früh.

Ich wünsche Euch allen viel Kraft.
