Wilshire, Norma Isabel (nee Conway)

Wilshire, Norma Isabel (nee Conway) – Peacefully, but suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, December 20, 2013 in her 93rd year.  Predeceased by her first husband George Goodrow and second husband Gordon Wilshire.  She will be dearly  loved and missed by her children and step-children Michael Goodrow (Susan), Patrick Goodrow, John Goodrow (Janice), Joanne (Jim Alexander), Bruce Wilshire  (Jane), Reid Wilshire (Charmaine) and Dale (Rob Andrews).  Predeceased by her step-son Wayne; brothers Howard, Lorne and Joseph and sisters Eileen, Marguerite, Ethel and Helen.  She will be dearly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.  Norma was a member of St. Augustine’s Church since 1972 and a member of the CWL.  Norma’s faith was very important and brought her great comfort throughout her life.  She was a passionate sports fan, especially the Ti-Cats, baseball and curling.  Daily crossword puzzles and reading were avid interests.  Special thank you to the Georgian Retirement Residence for 9 years of outstanding, loving care.  Friends will be received by the family on Monday evening, December 23rd from 6-8 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas.  Norma’s funeral Mass will take place at ST. AUGUSTINE’S CHURCH, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas on Tuesday, December 24th at 9:00 a.m.  Interment Holy Sepulchre.  In kindness, donations to the Good Shepherd Centre would be appreciated by the family.

Raynsford, Patricia Jane “Pat” (nee Westoby) – Suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, December, 16, 2013, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife and soul mate of Bob Raynsford. Loving mother of Michael (Wilma), of Dundas, Mark (Nadine) of Hamilton and Leisa Zess of Dundas. Sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren; Ashley, Bill, Emily, Marissa, Tricia and Tracy. Also sadly missed by her Sister Bonnie Barrett-Hamilton (John) of Penetanguishene and her brother Gordon (Carolyn) of Dundas, and her nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her parents Frank and Laureane Westoby. Pat was a Member of the RCL, Br#36 Ladies Auxiliary, Dundas. Friends will be receive by the family on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. The Service for Pat will be held Friday morning at 11 o’clock at Knox Presbyterian Church, 23 Melville St., Dundas. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Trillium would be appreciated by the family.

treier_kathy 001 Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on Saturday December, 14th 2013 in her 88th year.  Kathy is survived by her loving husband Jakob of 58 years, son Henry (Mary) and her brother John Schoeler. Dear Oma to Andrea and Sean.  Kathy is predeceased by her parents John and Eva Schildwachter.  Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where a Celebration of Kathy’s Life will take place on Wednesday December 18th at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton Alzheimer’s Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at Blackadar Nursing Home on Saturday, December 14, 2013, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of 67 years to Orval. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 1 until the Service for Anna at 2 o’clock at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery. Goldmann, Wesley Kurt – On December 13, 2013 in his 38th year. Too soon departed this life. Beloved son of Ken and Anna Marie, loving brother of Jeff (Jennifer) and Paula. Uncle to Tyler, Leah, Keandra, Nathan and Abby. Grandmothers Jean W. Adams and Helga Goldmann, and his girlfriend Trisha Powell grieve his passing. Wesley was a gentle soul, always kind to others and enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army. He loved the outdoors- hiking, biking and exploring. Wesley attended Greensville, Spencer Valley, Lynwood Hall, Woodview Children’s Centre Delta H.S. program and graduated from Highland S.S. He completed the Humber College Horticultural Program and did his apprenticeship with New Style Gardening in Waterdown. Wesley loved gardening, especially propagating exotic plants and flowers. His was the greenest thumb. Visitation will be at CHRIST CHURCH FLAMBOROUGH, 92 Highway #8, Greensville, L9H 4V5 on Wednesday, December 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., followed by a Funeral and interment on Thursday, December 19th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christ Church Flamborough Memorial Fund or the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
