Judd, Norman David – It is with great sadness that the light and love of my heart passed away on April 23, 2019. Norm will be lovingly and forever missed and remembered by his wife Wendy, his daughters Danielle (Mark) and Patricia (Robert), granddaughter Bethany, grandson Edward. Norm will be missed by his loving family, Roger (Barbara), Ruth (John), Guy (Stella), Robert (Judy). Predeceased by his parents Albert and Annonciade, brothers Raymond and Nick. Norm will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, golfing and coffee buddies. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 2-4 p.m., at Knollwood Golf and Country Club, 1276 Shaver Road, Ancaster, The Old Course. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

November 7, 1929 – April 28, 2019. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Rosette (Morra) at St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Teresa was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Gerry Rosette.
Teresa leaves behind her daughter LouAnne (Greg) Disher, her grandchildren Kelsey, Nicholas (Katlyn), Samantha (Josh) and great-grandson Dean Hoeppner.
Teresa was born in Toronto, Ontario the daughter of the late John and Lena Morra. Dear sister of Anna Granger, Don (Rachel), Paul (Shirley), Flo Duz (Al) and the late Rocco, Dena, Mary, Nancy, Dolly, Anthony, Betty and Josephine. Teresa will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Teresa spent most of her youth in Bracebridge, where she had very special memories and spoke fondly of those times. Teresa trained at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto and began her nursing career in Welland where she met Gerry. Gerry’s career took them to various cities across Canada. In 1984 they moved to Chippawa which was a life time dream of theirs to live along the Niagara river.
Teresa’s family will miss her dearly, she will forever be in our hearts.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Maple Grove Unit at St. Joseph’s Villa for the outstanding care and compassion they have shown mom and our family over the past few months.
Cremation has taken place, a celebration of life will be held at a later date, followed by the interment in Bracebridge, Ontario. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation.

February 20, 1931 – April 23, 2019
Holroyd, James “Jim” – passed on April 23rd, 2019 at the age of 88. Jim was born February 20, 1931 in Oldham, Lancashire, England to William and Hannah Holroyd, and immigrated to Canada in 1978. He was a self-employed painter and decorator. Jim always had a story to tell, a joke to be shared, and a cheek of a grin. Jim was the beloved husband to his late wife Barbara, and brother to late sibling Peter Holroyd. Jim is survived by his sister Rita Barnes, and his brother Denis Holroyd (Sheila). Loving father to Peter (Annette), Janet (Steven), Gillian (Chris). Proud grandfather to Paula, Cheryl, Matthew, Sherilyn, Cole, Chelsea, and Luke. Jim was a “chuffed” great-grandfather to Archie and Leila. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation between 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, followed shortly after by a gathering at a nearby Pub. Jim had a great passion for reading, so in lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton Public Library would be appreciated. Help Jim give the gift of reading to others.

Born March 30th, 1924. Mary Beth passed peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Good Friday, April 19th, 2019 in her 96th year, surrounded by family. Survived by her brother, Rev. Donald C. Brown and family; daughter, Susan Gogishvili and family; son, Charles Cummins and family; and the Capper and Munn families. She was an active member of St. James Anglican Church in Dundas and a teacher in the Hamilton Elementary School System for 29 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, aunt and friend to many and will be lovingly remembered. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 137 Melville Street, Dundas, at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, May 4th, followed by a Celebration of Life which will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Baranga’s On-The-Beach, 380 Van Wagners Beach Road, Hamilton. All are welcome. Memorial donations to St. James would be appreciated by the family.

Shaw, Garry Michael – Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 20, 2019 in his 54th year. Beloved husband of Danielle. Caring brother to Rhona, Peter (Becky), and John Shaw (Mary). Beloved brother-in-law to John Segato (Debbie). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Helen Shaw of Greenock, Scotland. Garry loved golfing with his friends. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and would try to golf abroad when possible. He enjoyed discussing politics as well as current events and would contribute letters to the editor in the Spectator. Garry had a great sense of humour and loved to debate. He loved his dogs, Dexter and Dusty, and missed Toto (2015) greatly. He enjoyed taking them for walks to the park. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, on Wednesday, April 24th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Donations can be made in memory to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.

Green, Jack Frederick – Of Dundas passed away at St. Joseph Hospital peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the age of 94. Born on January 26, 1925 in Hamilton. He was the son of Allen and Alice Green. Jack was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma. Jack grew up in West Hamilton with a shot gun and fishing pole in his hands, he loved the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, camping or just enjoying a long walk. Jack also enjoyed watching sports and was a familiar face around the local ball diamonds and arenas as he followed the local sports teams. Jack always seemed to have a smile on his face and a witty comment or come back for you. Surviving Jack are his son Brett (Louie) Green of Dundas and daughter Darci Beamish (Green) of Calgary, her three children Christopher Beamish (Melissa), Kimberly Vockins (Beamish) and Cameron Beamish and his two great-grandchildren Marshall and Vayda. As well as his brother Dave, brothers-in-law Brad Clarke, Jack Peer & sister-in-law Jane Biggins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Christine Green and son-in-law Dale Beamish, brothers Allen, Alf, Art, Ernest and sisters Sally Peer, Annalea (Polly) Clarke, Mary Campbell and Ellen Held. Jack will be missed by all his surviving family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. West and all the nurses and staff at Blackadars Continuing Care for all the compassion and care shown to Jack during his stay. In keeping with Jack’s wishes cremation has taken place and interment will take place at graveside with his family. If you so wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
