June Madge Hodgkin (nee Lane) Born in Hamilton May 5, 1924 – It is with profound sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mom and Nanny.  On May 16, 2015 (Dads birthday) she was reunited with the love of her life Chris (1996). June will be forever loved and always remembered by her son Brian (Barb 2008) and family; daughters Debbie (Tony Lennie) and grandson Hudson; Kimmy (Paul Ricciardi) and grandchildren Brittaney (Jesse Freeman), Adam, Matthew and Daniel; sister-in-law Margaret, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, especially Donna and Wayne Ryder, and innumerable close friends.  Family, friends and her faith were her passion.  Her generosity and kind spirit stretched far and wide. June enjoyed curling, both watching and playing, and was a member of the Dundas Granite Curling Club for many years. She loved playing cards with all of her friends (member of The Whipped Cream Club for over 70 years) and relatives, reading, knitting, and spending time with her family.  June always said “We should enjoy here while we’re here, because there’s no here there” and lived her life accordingly.  She was an inspiration to everyone’s life that she touched.  A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mark’s United Church, 1 Lynndale Dr., Dundas, on Friday June 5, at 11:00 am. A special thank you to Dr. Jim Williams, and the staff at the Georgian.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Mark’s or Hamilton Health Sciences would be appreciated.
