July 27, 1936 – June 3, 2018
Margaret Anne Goldrick of Dundas, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Margaret was born in Ingersoll ON, July 27, 1936. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Goldrick; her parents Allen & Bernice McWilliam, her brothers Wilson (Mac) and Glenn. She graduated from St Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, 1958, working in a variety of positions throughout her career. She enjoyed lake life on Nipissing, sailing, travel, gardening and cooking. She is survived by her niece, Charlotte Ann McWilliam of Oakville ON, and nephew James Allen McWilliam (Susan) of Greenville SC; great nieces and nephews, Patricia Lee (Daniel) and David McWilliam (Thornley) and children James, Robert. Martha and Hazel all of Fort Mill SC and Elizabeth McWilliam of Pleasanton, CA. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her many cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, Turner Family Funeral home, 53 Main St. Dundas ON L9H 2P7. Reception will follow.

Passed away peacefully at Highgate Residence on June 3, 2018 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of Norman. Loving mother of Patricia (Ron) Greenwood, Allan (Gwen), and Robert. Caring grandmother to Jennifer, Jim, Dan, Kris, Karla and great-grandmother to Cecily, Katie, Ty, Meg, Sammi, Dray, Austin, Eden, Lauren, Elaina. Sister to Helen. Sophie spent her life striving for excellence at home and at work, exploring new ways to enlarge her world and savour life. She truly believed that you are never too old to try something new! Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas, on Sunday June 10 from 2 – 4p.m. for a Celebration of Life. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Passed away on June 3, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in her 69th year. Beloved daughter of Joan (predeceased) & Robby. Loving mother of Stacy and Shayne. Caring grandmother to Jasmine (Jacob) and great-grandmother to Saige and Stephen. Sister to Wayne, Joanie (Frank), Susie (Annie), Danny (Deb), Chris, and predeceased by Jack (Rhoda). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to aunt Susie for helping our mom and us through this journey. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas, on Thursday June 7 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul’s United Church, 29 Park St. W., Dundas, on Friday June 8 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul’s United Church.

Grandmother of Shaun Stanley (Dianna), Jennifer Stanley, and David Powell (Tia). Great-Grandmother to Caitlin and Tyson, Evie and Ellie. Eldest sister to Margaret, Mary Dorothy (deceased), Tommy (deceased), Francis (deceased), and sister-in-law Jean Briggs. Long-time friend of Horace Stanley. Special thanks to Dr. Jim Williams and staff, and to the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa, Cherry Lane, especially Amy, Denae, and Matt. There will be a private family service for Joyce. Haake, Hermann – Passed away on May 26, 2018 at Wentworth Lodge, Dundas in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Ursula (nee Barenthien). Survived by brothers and a sister in Germany. Retired from Stelco Field Forces Construction Mechanical Dept. in 1986 with 31 years service. Cremation has taken place. According to Hermann’s wishes no service will be held. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Wentworth Lodge, the staff at CCAC, friends and neighbours for their care and compassion.
