It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the peaceful passing of my beloved husband of 36 years on October 22, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (née Creen). His brother-in-law and sister-in-law Walter and Susan Creen, niece Krista Schmidt, nephew Brent and wife Mindy Creen, nephew Bryan Creen, nephew Tyler and his wife Kristy Creen and nephew Paul and wife Sandra Schmidt. Also, great niece Madelyn and great nephews Deacon, Madden and Kingston. Charlie was predeceased by his mother Cecile and his father Charles. I also want to thank my dear friend Donna, who was there to help through this terrible loss.
I would like to give thanks and gratitude to the Nurses and Doctors on 7th Floor Nephrology at St. Joe’s for the care they gave to Charlie in the last couple of weeks and I want to thank and acknowledge the Nurses and Doctors on the 5th Floor Complex Care for their care in these last few months.
There will be no funeral, but if you would like to make a donation, please consider the Kidney Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the St. Joseph’s Foundation.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
