“I felt an angel’s loving touch, soft upon my heart
And with that touch, I felt the pain and hurt within depart
I felt an angel’s silken wings enfold me with pure love
And felt a strength within me grow, a strength sent from above
I felt an angel oh so close, though one I could not see
I felt an angel near today, sent to comfort me.”
Always enjoyed talking to Mrs. Ormerod, she was a kind and classy lady.
My mom and dad, Jim and Madge Whitlaw loved Jessie snd Reg. They bowled together for so many years at the University Plaza along with the Ward Family. I have so many good memories of the Ormerods growing up.
When I pass the Ormerod house on Creighton Road, I always smile and think of good people.
My deepest sympathy Beth to you and your family. You have had a lot of losses but no doubt your mom was well loved.

I’m so very sorry Beth and family. I remember Jesse so well, I can even hear her voice. Jesse and Reg were good friends with my parents Ruthe and Jack Stowe. Many a coffee, picnic or bridge game back in the day. Sending my good thoughts to you.
I am so sorry to hear of Jessie’s passing. I have fond memories of my parents, Dorothy and
Bill Ofield, getting together with Jessie and Reg, the Mouldens, the Erwins and the Holmes. They were a special group and had so much fun together. Hopefully they have been reuniting over the years and celebrating occasions like the Grey Cup and New Year’s Eve.
My condolences to Jessie’s family and friends.
I’m so sorry to see this!
We’ve known Jess our entire lives and she’s always been kind. I think I was a teenager before I understood we weren’t actually related ❤️
My condolences to your entire family. She will always be missed and fondly remembered.
So sorry to hear the passing of your dear Mother. Thoughts and prayers with you and Rick.
